Mercury Outboard Enagine Parts Used 2 Different Diameter Drive Shafts.
This Impeller has an Internal Diameter of .456" the distance across the hole in the center of the impeller.
If your impeller has an inside diameter of .438", this is NOT the correct impeller for you. This impeller will not fit 5hp Mercury Mariner engines.

I received the water impeller quickly. But when I received it I was very disappointed about the fact that the shaft key that locks the impeller to the shaft was not included. Now I have to wait longer to install and be able to use my boat till the key comes. The seller should state in the description that it does not come with the key and that one should order it separately. Or include the impeller key for a complete install. Which as a consumer I would recommend including the impeller key even if the price were to be 1 dollar or 2 more.
