These gaskets work great with my Kenmore 350 series water softener. The OEM (original) is much more expensive from Sears.

The outside housing was correct, the insides had parts from a different softener that didn't line up correctly. Because the outside housing was a perfect match I installed it, switched from bypass mode, a few seconds later the top of the valve blew off, water shooting everywhere. Thats when checked the insides and realized none of the necessary holes lined up. So when bypass was switched the water has no place to go but to blow the top of the valve off to release pressure.
