Your cart is empty.The Mishimoto water temperature sensor adapter allows you to place the water temperature sensor directly within the radiator hose.By placing the sensor in the hose and thus directly in the path of the water to the radiator, you are ensuring the most accurate reading possible.Being able to accurately gauge the temperature of the water aids in preventing overheating.Each temperature sensor adapter is made of aluminum and fitted with a 1/8" NPT bung.

Works as suggested for removing air pocket build up in LS motors and keep longevity in motors. Easy install just follow directions.

As others have stated, it does not have aet screw for grounding the unit, but easily remedied with a drill press and a 10-32 button head screw. Not a big deal in my eyes. Will add more photos once installed.Update: installed easily. Threw away the hose clamps that came with it and used some beefier clamps.

I bought this as a prep for a future water temp sensor. It well built and comes with what I need. However, have some patience fitting this onto silicone hoses. The rigidity of silicone hoses makes this adapter much harder to install. You'll want to flex the hoses and maybe even freeze the adapter so it'll shrink some to get the hoses to fit. Otherwise, it came as advertised for my application.

This fit great for an 2001 turbocharged miata. The fit is tight, the clamps lock in well with the grooves in the piece. I would hang from this without fear if I needed to. I'm thinking about installing another one on my coolant supply temperature because it works so well!

The listing for whoever is selling this part is misleading and created without attention to detail. The product listing is featured with an image showing the part with a provision for a ground but does not actually have it. Mishimoto is a great company and makes quality parts. The problem isn't the part, the problem is that the part is advertised with a feature that doesn't exist.
