UPDATE: After I posted this review, a very proactive and friendly customer service rep from the company that sells these contacted me about the filter problem. I was surprised of course because I had bought these in May 2024 but had written my review in November 2024. The rep offered a refund for the purchase and one of their new style of water filters and pitcher combos. Now I am delighfully double surprised. I still have to give the filters 1 star but I give their customer service and especially the rep who reached out to me 10 stars for going beyond anything I expected.___________________________________________________________I bought these in May. I change filters every two months. I've used four filters so far. The first three filters worked fine even though the water flowed through them very fast. I don't think fast filtering is a plus. I changed the filter on November 1st and it's already worn out. I was pouring water into my pets' dishes and it smelled just like the terrible water that comes out of the tap. I don't know why. I can't give this water to my pets or drink it myself because it smells so bad. And if it smells bad, then how much did the filter actually filter?I have to run out to the store now to buy new filters. I will throw out the remaining unused filters.[Filters] not recommended.

I live in a rural area where a single Brita filter sells for $17. A box of six Waterdrop filters is less than that, and I can see no difference between a Waterdrop filter and a Brita. Looks and fits the Brita pitcher exactly the same, and works just the same as far as I can tell. Highly recommend.
