Clock keeps great time used in portable battery case for ham radio. A big plus is it only displays military time which is perfect for ham radio as we set our clocks to UTC time. A little hard to set until I figured it out. It uses a touch screen button to set. Why don’t they provided instructions? I took off one star for that. Basically you touch the icon for three seconds till the hours blink then tap it to increase the hours when you get to the hour you want just pause and wait till it locks in and the minutes start flashing. Advance the minutes and then pause for the time out lock. The clock draws 4ma for the memory and draws about 80ma powered up. I built it right into a lifepo battery box which I use for field operations. Very convenient I set it for UTC time so when I log a QSO I have the exact time.

I moved my 12v outlet off the dash of the boat to a location where it is better located for actually using it. This left a hole in my dash, that I filled with this clock. Not necessary, but it filled the hole and it gives me a time display. I wish it had a 12 hr function, but it keeps time well. Looks nice with the rest of my blue-lit dash controls.
