I bought these because the fridge in my semi truck isn't consistent. Truck driving isn't a healthy profession to begin with, don't want to worry about my food temperature driving down the road. It saves the high and low temperatures and is fairly accurate. There is a hook that you can flip out from the back if you want to hang it. There is also a built in magnet on the back so you can stick it to the wall of your fridge. It's all plastic so I wouldn't put it somewhere that it's going to get damaged. I've had these for over a year and haven't had to replace the batteries yet. Pretty easy to use, has a reset button to clear your high/low. I just wish it had a delay when you reset. When you are going to put it in the freezer or fridge, put it in and let it cool off, then reset it.I also use these for my home fridge. We occasionally lose power, and it's good to check to make sure the temp stayed in the safe range.

I bought one of these back in 2020, and kept it in my freezer.Four years later in 2024, I finally replaced the original battery. As the display slooowly dimmed, it appeared to keep about the same accuracy. (It uses 1x CR2032 battery, by the way -- not that there's any reason to keep one on-hand as a spare with this kind of lifespan, but you can write it on the back of the thermometer with a Sharpie.)Easy to use. Reported temperatures agree well-enough with my other thermometers. Magnet works adequately on flat steep surfaces. Hangy-thing works on a variety of wire shelves, and can be clicked into place as a kickstand to prop the display up on an angle for flat shelves.It's been dropped more times than I can count. It's was frozen for nearly half a decade. It works great, and it is still priced right.I'm buying another one for a second freezer.

Unit is small and compact, with hang on a grid in your freezer. What I use it for is my extra freezer which only has knob showing cold, colder or coldest.It allows you to set the temperature at the correct temperature.

The replacement set works great. Only 1 of the original pair worked, so I returned those for an exchange. Now that both are working, they seem to be accurate and easy to read.

Great little invention.....love the way it had the lowest temp AND highest temp recorded as well. Oh lest I forget the Current temp!!

Right out of the box they matched temps pretty closely, so that's a positive. I've seen a few reviews that show them wildly apart sitting side by side so I feel fortunate they match. That's not to say they are perfectly accurate, but it's a good start. At worst, they'll be identically inaccurate!I purchased these for my new 12V fridge/freezer combo in my van to get an idea on how the fridges built-in readings are compared to these. The fridges thermometers are notoriously off according to the fridge reviews. I can calibrate the fridges readings to more closely match these thermometer readings. I have another set of wireless thermometers, so hopefully I can find a good average. I can also compare the top of each side vs. the bottom to see how much of a variable is there since it will always be colder at the bottom of a top load unit. The hooks work well for the baskets in the fridge/freezer and I can move them up or down depending on which area I want to measure. By the way, the picture of them in my fridge was taken just a couple of minutes after I put them in, so they didn't really have a chance to get to temperature yet, but they are surprisingly responsive and update pretty quickly.They also have the ability to tilt up for easier viewing, which I wasn't expecting. If I find they are wildly inaccurate, I'll update this review, but after just getting them, I'm very happy and got them in just a day, in fact less than 24 hours after ordering!UPDATE: After using these for over a year now, they are still working perfectly. I pulled them out of my fridge/freezer recently and put them side by side to see if they are still reading similar temps. I'm happy to say they stayed within .1 degree of each other for several hours, proving to me they are still working properly. I also placed them next to another La Crosse thermometer which has always been very accurate and the readings were virtually identical. I'm still on the original batteries, too.

I bought the set of four.. When I opened the box, of course they were all packed together very closely.My first impression was that no two of these 4 thermometers displayed the same temperature. The four displayed a range of about 1.1 degrees from lowest to highest. Okay, I put them into my refrigerator next to one another. Sure enough, they displayed a range of temperatures. Again, they displayed a temperature range of just over one degree. Now, I know that my refrigerator circulates the air inside and two items seemingly close together might be subject to a draught from the circulation.The display shows temperature down to 1/10 of a degree. However, if the measured temperature varies from one to another by a whole degree or more, the tenths of a degree is obviously of no use. Just window dressing.

this buy is to replace a previous therm that started getting flakey in cold temperatures (works fine at room, just not cold) they are reasonably priced and reasonably accurate.
