This is an upgraded version of the one it is replacing. It is a heavy duty brass, machined and threaded. It is serviceable and adjustable. Mine holds a nice steady pre-set pressure at 48 psI. I recommend this. I did the install myself. Good choice.

I didn’t need the union as mine fit the new one so that saved me some soldering. Fit perfectly and had all the o rings and parts, I only needed teflon and a plumbers wrench. So happy to have a working PRV again. Installed in less than 30 minutes (drain time included) and it’s great quality and quiet when in use.

Perfect replacement to the one that was faulty at our new house. Took about 1 hour and fixed our high water pressure issues. I would recommend you get a water pressure gauge to make any adjustments and verify correct pressure around 60psi.

This product works as It should. In the description it said it was set for 45 psi and I tested it after it was installed and it tested 45 psi, so that was a plus. I installed the only yesterday so it is too early to to say how long it may last. But, as these go, they are pretty dependable. Amazon asks you to rate a product before you get to accurately test. Happy with it so far. Also, in the description it listed the dimensions way wrong. It is not that large. It about the same size as most water regulators.

I had no problem installing product in my dads house water pressure had gone to 130 lbs before new one put in. Great price compared to what plumber would of charged. Good thing I am a pipefitter/plumber. I knew what the problem was.

Exelent.. better then what I expected. My house was built in 1973 and this product matched the original piece. Also as describe was set at 50 psi of pressure. Resolved the shaking pipes problem.
