After reading numerous reviews on many docking stations, I decided to go with this one to replace an older one when I redid the office setup. It works as advertised. Has many ports for devices. Is flat instead of upright. Plug and Play. No other software was needed upon installation.Have not had any issues to date.

I have to use a Mac for my day job and I'm remote. So I wanted a docking station that allowed me to use my monitor and home setup for my PC. This docking station is compatible with both!!! Most other docking stations that claim they are for both Mac/PC need to have both be USB-C/Thunderbolt and aren't compatible if you want to use the docking station with PC through USB 3. On the PC side, it's plug and play -- I literally just plugged the USB cable in and everything was working on its own. For the Mac, I had to download the driver, and once that was installed, it was plug and play as well. EASY PEASY. Display settings recognized everything for Mac.It comes with two cables (one USB 3 and the other USB-C). I use the USB 3 one consistently which also works with the USB-C to USB adapters for mac.This device came up on Amazon search as an ad, and I'm SO GLAD it did because it's the only one I've found that works like this which is exactly what I needed!!!! Plenty of ports for everything, no issues with anything. Stellar product all around!!! Highly recommended.

***Important Edit***I did not know that I would need to run a program to use the display ports. And by doing that, it put a heavy load on my laptop and made my primary programs start glitching out. I can not have that in my setting so I had to return it.Sidenote: You can use the hub without using running the display ports program, The hub itself runs fine and you have full access to all the input slots. But, you can not extend your display at all.The return process was easy and I have already been given a full refund.(Original review below)Bought to use with my 2019 MBP. Primary use will be DJ'n and music production. Out the box and hooked up, I love the sleek size and placement, I will be using all the 3.0 slots. All the slots are running some high end pieces of audio equipment and so far, not a bit of interference using the hub.Hooking up the HDMI ports: of course I had no physical issue hooking up 2 HDMI ports so that worked just fine BUT, in order to use the HDMI outputs you need to download/update the drivers for hub then re-start your computer and give access to the your preferences in order to be able to expand the displays. I do like that I now have 3 displays on my MBP vs my old nonpowered hub that only allowed for 1 screen expansion.Now to the thing that I DO NOT like about this product.The power plug is a brick vs a regular plug. I wish that it was a regular plug as I am using a bunch of plugs to run all my equipment. when you have to add brick plugs into the picture, then you end up loosing a plug slot or have to elevate the plug with a coupler to be able to use with pretty much any power strip. I will be using this hub in both home and professional settings so I will be locating my coupler so that I do not have to loose a plug slot.All and all, for the price and the use for me as a musician, I am very happy with my first impressions of the powered hub. After reading the little instruction book that comes with the product, I learned that you can expand your display's even more by getting a second powered hub and daisy chaining them together.. Pretty cool but I wont need to go down that road with what all I am using my setup for.I hope this review helps anyone considering this product.#HumanJukeBoxDJMO

I needed to find a replicator or docking station that would allow me to connect 2 LG external 27" monitors to my laptop. Our IT firm suggested a product that cost $270, which I thought was egregious. So, I spent an extensive amount of time researching the options online. I wanted to make sure that my second external screen resolution would not be diminished. I also wanted a plug-and-play gadget that didn't require any driver downloads. Most importantly, my laptop only has USB 3.0 ports and no USB-C port. Fortunately, the Wavlink docking station came with an adaptor for USB 3.0 as well as USB-C. It also had other beneficial features that comparable products don't have - like dual independent HDMI/Diplayports and an off/off switch, so that I don't have to unplug the docking station if I don't want to use it. I plugged everything in and it all worked immediately. The product has a good warranty, which I hope will never be needed. So far, this has been a good purchase. The only caveat is that the electrical plugs to power the docking station and the monitors are large, so a regular power strip may not be sufficient. I ended up plugging one power strip into the wall and a second power strip into the first power strip.

Bought this to replace an old docking station, and it worked great at first. Then today, after about 2 weeks of using it, it just died. Gave it some time, unplugged it, etc...no luck, returned it.

Literally plugged everything in and it all worked.Was prepared to have to investigate why monitors, speakers, camera/mic, Ethernet didn’t work and had the book open… and it all did.Have had it for around a month now and have had no issues besides the occasional sound drop on teams calls but I can’t tell if it’s the person talking, me, or the box and since it happened before I tend to think the others are the fault.

When I started work remotely I already know the dock in my company provides us Wich is great but more expensive. So, adjusting to my budget I've bought this one with a little bit of scare for certain reviews. But my experience was great. By maybe a year of bought it, I have some issues and wrote to the customer service center, the answer promptly and as of today I still have it and is functioning good. Hope continue as this.I changed the cables for other of more quality.

I connected this to my Dell Precision 7720 laptop that's about 5 or 6 years old. Windows 10 downloaded the driver and the monitors came alive after the driver was installed. It mirrored the desktop at first but I changed it to extend the desktop onto two 24" monitors using 1920x1080 resolution. . I now have 2 monitors and the laptop screen to work with. No issues with the screen quality and I'm impressed with the quality of the device itself. Its made of metal and has some weight to it. If it stops working perfectly I'll revise the review.

This hub does the job. I have two monitors connected to it. The Ethernet port is convenient as well as the other USB ports. I wish it had an USB c port but unfortunately it doesn’t. So far so good.

If you are looking for a solution to connect 2 monitors to your macbook air look no further as this device works flawlessly. Download the display link driver from the website and connect the device. It will instantly work. You can extend and mirror the monitors. If you want to work with your macbook closed make one of the monitors as the main display and than close the macbook.
