Replacement worked and was able to resurrect the standby sump pump.

These transformers are junk, the plastic housing always cracks in multiple spots. Not to mention how heavy and bulky these plugs are, even with brand new outlets I'm worried about the plug backing out and creating a poor connection. They really need to use a different style transformer, something like a laptop charger setup, or at least use better plastic on the housing that doesn't crack so easily. No, I've never dropped the plug or abused the plugs either. The transformers on the inside rattle around, and with their weight, it must not take much rattling to crack the housing. They even crack between the two prongs, how does that happen

Slow shipping and surprise, product came defective, unusable. After installing it, the backup sump cover show power failure led. Measured the voltage output and only couple of volts coming out from terminal instead of 16! Need return.
