This heating element was a perfect replacement for our GE oven. It was very easy to install. It works just like it should, and heats the oven evenly. It is identical to the original heating element, but for a cheaper cost than buying from GE.

So backstory first: our “old†heating element started on fire a couple months ago. A fire extinguisher was used, tears were shed because it meant no more brownies and fear of having to replace our ancient stove built up. I looked up our old spectra stove online to find the part number and typed it into Amazon, saw it, and bought it because not being able to make baked goods and casseroles was getting annoying. So, I impulsively bought this part without looking at my bank account and was happy to make this decision. We cleaned out the disaster the fire extinguisher made and had to take the back piece off of the stove because the stupid wires were not wanting to stay through the holes in the oven. So I only needed a small enough socket screw driver and a pliers because you need to open and pinch the metal pieces on the ends of the heating component to the wiring of the stove. (Please please for heavens sake unplug the stove before doing any of this by the way!) Anyways I screwed everything in place and plugged the stove back in and it works beautifully. Brownies were made and money was saved. Take it from me if your unlucky with stuff breaking down on you all the time like I am (and are broke 🥲) make sure this is the right part or at least looks like the old one that’s what I kinda of did. Get your tools ready and fix that problem, safely of course. So all in all, it heats, we eats, with no fire. The installation was easy enough for me and a helper to hold the wires through so I could clip the new ones on. Hopefully this review helps other people living the paycheck to paycheck life😊 (also I did notice the new heating element smoke a little when Turing the oven on for the first time but that was probably something burning off from when it was packaged, so don’t be alarmed I had it at 350 degrees by the way)

This was a huge value. Installed it myself and worked perfectly. Service call and cost through the repair center would have cost much more.

This was a perfect fit to replace the element that burned out in my oven. Super easy to install! This saved me lots of money since I could do it myself instead of calling a repair service.

Received 2 days later. But tis the season. Got it installed. Works great. Be sure to turn the breaker off first and then do a burn in. After the burn in, there was a film on the inside of the oven that now needs to be cleaned. But mostly satisfied b

Part was a perfect fit for my GE stove model EER4001N01SS which wouldn't bake (heating element would not glow). After installation of this part, the element immediately heated up, glowed red and works just as well as the OEM part. If you have this stove, its easier to disconnect and reconnect the wiring from the back of the stove rather than from inside the oven. Just remove the 5 screws holding the center cover. Easy 10 minute installation.
