We got my wife the extra long capybara slanket for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. As in, she will get home from work, head straight to our room, and emerge wearing it. It's warm, fuzzy, and, well, who doesn't like capybaras?

I got this for my adult daughter to wear at the house when she comes home from college. She wanted the longer ("extended") option. I thought it might be uncomfortable to have all that extra weight of a blanket to carry around, but it is actually very comfortable! I am tempted to keep it for myself and get her a different one, but she loves capybaras and will be so excited to have this wearable blanket on cold winter nights. Temperatures have recently dropped here in Colorado so I wore it for an evening (pre-wash) and was not overly hot in it. It was cuddly warm. I washed it but read the instructions to NOT put in the dryer. I hung it in the closet to dry. Unlike another reviewer, my product did not tear up my washing machine and was not heavy when it came out of the washer. I had it on a higher spin cycle, which may have helped get the water out. It was not dripping wet when I put it in the closet. I love that it has pockets to carry a phone or other items. All in all, this is a great wearable blanket hoodie! I am giving four stars because I wish I could put it in the dryer, but I don't dare try it since the instructions say not to.

I cannot wait until Christmas morning! This is the new modern age version of a robe in the sense that it can be worn over pajamas or other clothing to lounge in and keep warm. I got this for my middle son who loves to wear a blanket like a cloak in the winter time because he says "it's always too cold". My son can be fully clothed, but when he is working on his laptop, watching TV, playing games with his brothers, or relaxing and playing video games, he will still have a blanket on or around him. This wearable blanket is cute, not as heavy as expected, and super soft. I know he is absolutely going to love it. The best part is there is plenty of room to grow so he can use this for a long time.

I got this because I thought it was the cutest thing and the extended size is a good compromise to a snuggy. It's long, it's fluffy. I have one of those sherpa-lined oversized hoodies to wear around the house, and it's amazing and I love it but I always wished it was longer. I thought this would be a homerun. However, rule of thumb is wash it first. I put this in the wash machine (not a lot of lint seemed to be coming of off it when it was straight out of the bag), and walked away. This thing nearly killed my washing machine. I don't know what it is made out of, but it soaks up water like a camel. It got so heavy and was holding on to the water so well, that when the spin cycle hit, it was too heavy for the drum to actually work effectively. So I had to air dry it. I ended up squeezing the water out of it several times before it was somewhat acceptable to put in the dryer. It took an hour and a half on high to get it to be on the south side of damp. It was insane. I've washed comforters, blankets, pillows. I have NEVER had an issue with a material holding water. I don't even know what to call this fabric. Does it look cute? Yes. But keeping it clean is an issue. You'd need a commercial-strength washing machine. Also, it's not heavy. It's not like those oversized hoodies on tv. It feels like the type of blankets you buy in a home decor store, with some white fluffy on the inside. Warm? yes, but it's no more special than a regular blanket.

First my girlfriend used this but then we got a different version (just a regular, no animal design, pink version.) We gave this to her little sister and her little sister loves it! What’s not to like about this? It’s warm, got a fun animal design, versatile (usage) and functional for the Winter season!It’s a universal fit too. Literally anyone can fit one of these!Highly recommended! You won’t be disappointed with any of the styles—even if you got this for a gift and they didn’t like the design, they wouldn’t complain because they’ll be too happy that they’re so comfortable and warm in it! I was pleasantly surprised with the high quality of this. My daughter is obsessed. It’s a nice weight and soft and definitely doesn’t feel or cheap. There are so many cute details like the pockets are paws. The face on the hood is great. Highly recommend for your capybara loving kids!

The size was great. I'm 5-8" and fit me just right.The look is very pleasing and cute. A bit thin in material compared to an Oodie.The downside is stitching already had come apart in 2 or more places and the material started shedding.Liked the look but had to return it due to the quality issue.
