This is a great tool - it records my health metrics well, does timers well, is sturdy yet light, etc. However, don't get this if you were hoping for a smart watch. I can pay with Garmin pay but it lacks a touch screen so you're hitting up 5 times to get to one number, then again for another, etc to enter your pin. They should change this to a pattern using 4 buttons instead to reduce button presses while maintaining security. Similar complaint is that there is no color and a static display screen. I had a previous Garmin (non-dive) which had more of those features and I liked that. One last thing is that given the previously mentioned there's no image display for texts etc either. That's all super reasonable given it's price point, I simply missed that in the feature comparison. I almost returned it for the pricier mk2i which might have that but then I decided I wasn't sure if it mattered that much to me. The only thing I don't like is entering my pin for Garmin pay on this as it is easier to get my phone out of my pocket and finger print unlock that.

The display isn't that fancy (colors and graphics, etc) but functionally it is just what I needed. It worked great on a couple 60m dives in Hawaii. Compared it to the dive shop supplied computer since it was the first use and half way through the first dive I never looked at the other one. It kept track of the safety stops and ascent rates perfectly.

The watch provides good information and comfortable to wear. However, it has a low light and is hard to see even after pressing the light button.

Really great watch. The battery last so long. We went diving in the VI and it did amazing. We're gone for 7 days and didn't have to charge it once. Love it. Highly recommend.

It is so rich in uses that I feel like I'm still learning after 10 days. I have not gone diving yet with the watch and am anxious to try it.

This has gotta be the toughest sports watch around. While recently at a Scrapefruit concert the silicone wrist strap to my watch broke. While a bit disappointing, it is unsurprising considering the sheer energy, rowdiness, and number of human bodies in the mosh pit. I’m talking four, maybe five-hundred people, shoulder to shoulder, slamming into each other, throwing elbows, banging heads, and shaking ass to the stratospheric sounds of CHaRD performing his new hit single, “PASTEâ€. Through the fortuitous act of a friend I recovered the watch several days later, meaning that for the remaining two hours of the show, my watch was living in what can most accurately be described as hell for electronic devices. For two hours, this watch was stomped to death on a floor full of mud, snow, beer and probably some various bodily substances – only it didn’t die. 10/10 for this watch. I would say I’d buy a Garmin again, but I won’t ever need to. This watch will probably outlast human civilization.
