I’m 5’9†165lb. I wear 32x34 wrangler jeans with boots. I bought medium. They fit well, very long, but if you’re in the saddle it’s not extreme. Walking, I punched holes in the bottom, installed snaps, and I just flip them up and snap. You could just tie them instead of snaps. Didn’t want to cut them down to length, but you could easily. Nice durable tanned leather, should keep south Texas cactus out of my jeans.

I am 5'11" and weigh 200 lbs. I have a 36" waist (measured over my belt it's 38") and 32" inseam. My thighs measure 24" at the groin with my jeans on. I ordered size "large", that I was told by customer service was 38" to 42" waist and 27" groin. That gives me some "wiggle room' in the groin area which I'll need when wearing extra layers because I certainly didn't want them too tight! They arrived in two days with Amazon Prime. They fit perfect ( I'll have to cut off about 3" at the bottom). I'll leave enough length to cut into fringe on the bottom, just for looks! They fit me perfect!

I’m 5’10 and these things are super long. I talked to this very friendly lady at Weaver. She suggested a large after we chatted a bit about the sizing. I’m returning my large for a XL. I have thicker muscular thighs and a 36 waist. They don’t seat correctly for me in the front or back. The quality of leather is amazing! Hands down best leather product I have purchased. I’m confident the XL will be a perfect fit. So my suggestion is get the next size up.

Thick full grain leather. HD zipper. Quality workmanship. Impressive, especially at this price.

I work horses for a living, and working chaps are supposed to fit you well. After all, your safety is at risk otherwise. These might be cute on western night at your local watering hole, but they are horrid if you’re planning to really ride or work in them — and that’s if you can get them to fit at all.The leather itself is nice and thick, but the stitching is poor, the hardware is garbage, and the fit is laughable. A size large should be labeled a 3x. I could wear a fat suit under these things. Moreover they are generically lengthened — to fit a man of about 7â€2 — so you’ll have to cut a foot off the bottoms either way. By far the worst fit I’ve ever had in a pair of chaps. What’s sad is that weaver used to make great stuff, but I guess it’s another sign of the times. If you try to actually WORK in these things, you will likely get severely injured thanks to how poorly sized and constructed they are. Stay clear!Instant return!

Leather seems to be quality an well put together. Sizing is a little bit off, but not bad, they seem to soften up a bit an break in time isn't horrible.I Do wish the front had an actual strap with a buckle instead of a leather thong run through two punched holes to tie, great if you gotta bend over a lot but otherwise you have to readjust an tighten them pretty often.Over all solid product, plenty of length in them, I have a 37in inseam and they're a touch long.

Great chaps so far I recommend looking at the sizing charts already mentioned in the reviews and not worrying so much about the length because I ended up just trimming mine to length but otherwise beautiful soft leather and very well made I make leather goods myself and can tell by the stitching and quality of leather it’s a well made product and will last
