Great replacement part at a low price. I bought this for my Q2000 grill on the guess that I could change out the shorter mounting bracket, which has only two screws, to the longer bracket on my Q2k. I was right, but I found I had to also change the gas adjustment valve also. In the pic you can see the outlet orifice with the marking “.84â€(assume to be .84mm) and the one in the old regulator was marked “1.01â€. It worked ok with the .84 orifice, but burned hotter when I switched out to the 1.01 part. Since the orifice seat threads were different sizes I had to switch them out in the gas flow adjustment valve, which is just a pipe thread fit. Use gas line Teflon tape just to be safe. Fired it up and all is good! This is very easy stuff for the person who just has a modicum of mechanical aptitude. Don’t be afraid to take it on.

The bracket was too short to be a direct replacement. Transferred the regulator/ valve assembly to my old bracket (2 screws). Works great!!

Our grill was not producing a good flame. We cleaned the burner but did not change so ordered the regulator. Easy to install and grill works like new.

I grill pretty much daily so I wanted this part ASAP. It's a genuine Weber part at a lower price than Weber. It arrived really fast. It's easy to install especially if you read the directions all the way through so you have all the necessary tools handy. I did not but I still installed in in less than 30 minutes.
