Work in area where your lucky for a single bar of LTE signal with cell only. After properly installed 4-5 bars seen. Make sure your internal and external antenna are opposite and are as far from amplifier as your cabling and vehicle will allow.

Buyer beware. I have owned three WeBoost units in the last three years. All three failed. I was able to return two of them within the warranty window but am stuck with one $600 paperweight. I have had two fail out of the box and had one last less than a year of use. Their warranty is 2 years. If you are only in rural areas a few times a year, they are relying on you not using it and it dying just beyond the warranty window without you noticing.I live full time on the road. I have been across the country 5 times with a WeBoost and at no point did it ever function as intended. At one point, I was carrying two in the car and neither worked. I can say with great confidence, save your money and headaches from Wilson Electronics. You won't get substantially further in nature with the WeBoost than you would without it.As I said, I've been on the road three years and for all the money I've spent on WeBoost, I'd have been better to save the money for gas to get back to areas with solid service. There are better alternatives. Don't waste your money. If you insist you need this technology, I can tell you as a full-time nomad with years of experience, that you are wasting your money on this product.

We replaced the little magnetic mount antenna that came with the weboost with this one. What a noticeable difference! The signal goes up several bars instead or just one or two.

So far, we've installed it and used it. It has made no discernable difference in performance. The manufactures says "performance is hard to measure, so it can be hard to tell" So far I have more empirical data supporting Santa Clause and the Tooth Fairey than this thing.

Work rig was disposing of a Drive 4g-x thingy because it didn't work. I noticed all the wires were torn up and the old thin metal antenna was brokenI called we boost direct and they said this antenna would work and suggested the normal little antenna you'd have connected inside your car. Customer service said it should work but no guarantee so suggested or order through Amazon instead because they have a better return policy (super cool of them!)Didn't need to, worked great! According to connection tests, almost tripled internet and phone service in my rural area! Super stoked I gave it a try; for $150 in antennas I got a $500 system working

With the poor cell coverage in Canada this is a must for any Rver that wants to stay connected. Super easy to install and works as advertised. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking to stay connected remotely. Of course if there isn’t any cellular service at it won’t help

Couldn't use the mount that came with it, as I don't have a ladder or a surface 90 degrees to angle needed for the antenna.Helped a lot in boosting the signal over the stock magnet antenna that came with the drive x.
