I absolutely adore 1950's fashion. I love the dresses, the crinolines, the shoes, and the overall style. It's fun to play with fashion and have pueces representative of different decades.I have a hard time buying clothes online. I'm pretty much a potato on legs, with big boobs, and it's difficult to find things that truly flatter my body. When I saw this adorable dress, I scoured the reviews to find ones from people who seem to have a similar body type. I almost ordered an XL because that's the largest size I wear in stores like Old Navy and Target. I range anywhere from a medium to an extra large in most stores depending on item type and the fabric.For reference - I am 5'3" tall. I weigh 195 pounds and my bust is 38DDD. Most of my weight is distrubuted in my torso...like a pregnant person.This dress is absolutely delightful. It can be scary ordering online because you can't see or feel the fabric quality. This fabric is good quality and it is not see through in the color I ordered (Army Green). I chose the option with the heart buttons. The color - Army Green - is vibrant and would actually be a perfect Christmas green. I can see making this a bit festive in the holiday season with some red shoes or a red purse or even a red crinoline. The belt is not attached, so you have the option of leaving it off or on.The fit was perfect, which is saying something for my body type. I would love to buy more of these. My biggest worry was the bust. Often, clothes can fit me perfectly everywhere else, but the bust. Buttons are especially tricky for those of us who carry extra luggage on our chest. I was so happy when I tried this on and saw that the buttons actually fit! No pulling. No gaping.My only issue - and this is personal preference - is the length. At 5'3" many of my dresses hit a bit lower than I'd like. This one hits about two inches below my knee. I prefer to just skim the top of the knee as that is just more flattering on me personally. I want to see how it looks with a crinoline as that may adjust where the length hits. Otherwise, it'll need to be hemmed. This dress isn't floofy. Take note of the photos others have left. If you want to add fullness to the skirt, you'll need to wear a crinoline, which you can find on Amazon or in some brick and mortar stores.I'm super happy with this dress. It's adorable, it fits very well, and it fulfills my desire for 1950's fashion styles.

This is a cute dress with a vintage 1950s look. The fabric is stretchy, forgiving, and comfortable. It would be really cute one someone with the right build. I felt like the dress's big, heart-shaped buttons made it look at bit more like a costume, but that's a matter of taste. Others may think it adds to the cuteness. It would be easy to sew on different buttons if you don't like them. If you're not sure about sizing, it runs big. I'm 5' 4" and 130 lbs. The size medium was too big for me. I had to return it. I didn't reorder a size small because the dress is cut for women with fuller busts. The waist of the dress fit well, but the top was too baggy. My arms came no where close to filling out the sleeves, so the sleeve fabric stuck straight out a bit awkwardly. The dress fell several inches below my knees (longer than I expected). If you're petite like me, this dress probably isn't for you. If you're bigger on top and/or tall, this dress would probably be prefect for you!

Love this dress. I got it in green and I love the little white heart buttons. It's very soft and comfortable although it does wrinkle fairly easy

Oh my goodness, I adore this dress! I’m tall and thin (5’8/115 lbs with 34D boobs) and have so much trouble finding dresses that fit properly! Either the top fits well and the waist is huge, or the waist fits well and the top is too tight. (Plus, the waistlines on most dresses are usually waaaaay too high for me - like, underbust level.) But not this baby! The top is big enough for my boobs and the waist is small enough to provide shape. (Yes, it’s still technically too high and could stand to be taken in an inch or two, but with the belt, it’s totally doable.) The color is true to the picture, the stretchy, ultra-comfy fabric is a great weight with a nice, wrinkle-resistant drape, and the ruffled retro placket with heart buttons is so fun and feminine! I’m so crazy about this dress that I also ordered it in red polka dots! Now, if it only came in PINK polka dots! (A girl can dream!) 🥰ðŸ’🎀

It is a very pretty dress but I had to return it. I am a size XL/16 in regular clothes, but I ordered a 3X and this was STILL waaaaaay too tight across the chest. Sadly, that is the largest size they offer, so size WAY up when ordering if you're larger in the chestes.

I got this dress on a lightning deal. The peacock green is really a delightful teal color. The fabric is very nice, much better quality than I expected. I’m 5’3â€, 153 pounds, 34D. I got the medium but the large would be better for my measurements because it’s just slightly too tight and the material has no give or stretch to it. I intentionally sized down because I’m losing weight. If i wasn’t, the medium would be returned because it’s too small around my belly. The fit is snug around my chest and i couldn’t recommend the medium for anything bigger than 34D. The length of the skirt is fantastic, hits just below my knee. The button hearts are cute, but I may replace them with something less “cutesy†to wear it to work, and pair it with a skinny leather belt in a color to match shoes (either nude or white). All around nice purchase for the price. I may check out the shop and buy another dress!

Einfach tolles Kleid!!!Ich hatte zu Anfang Angst, dass er wegen meiner großen oberweite (90d) nicht passt . Habe xl bestellt und es passt wie angegossen! Ich fühle mich unglaublich wohl .Problemzönchen werden gut kaschiert. Das Kleid habe ich in königsblau bestellt mit einem weißen petticoat. Da es für eine Hochzeit war, die in einer Scheune und Garten statt gefunden hat, habe ich noch hohe weiße chucks angehabt.Ich fand es sah mega aus und habe auch viele Komplimente diesen Abend bekommen.Ich werde mir das Kleid aufjedenfall noch in anderen Farben bestellen.
