I don't know why I never got one of these before. It makes the job so much easier on my back and arms. The value of this extension is so worth the minimal cost. The assembly to the shaft of the weed whacker was simple and the ability to custom adjust the angle made this a wonderful tool for everyone.

First off, the package contains half of a rubber gasket sleeve and that was not enough to make the bracket attach tightly. The listing doesn't really say what it comes with for a gasket other than, you should use one. I took an old 1/2 inch thick automobile fuel line, cut it about an 1 1/2 long, split it down the middle and combined that with the half sleeve it came with, works great.Assembly was easy, comes with an allen wrench. Parts seem sturdy enough. The handle piping reminds me of a cheap tent pole, volleyball net holder, etc. yes, seems thin. When I used it, it didn't bend, break or appear to torque. It might be based on the way I installed it.it is comfortable to use on a long straight trimmer and I did not have to lean over to use the trimmer (I'm 6ft tall). Overall, better experience with trimmer and I recommend it.For the reviews where the piping handle bent, I can't see how that would happen unless you have the handle at an odd angle and are putting pressure against it having to pull on the handle towards you. I have mine installed so that the trimmer is more hanging from it vs having to pull on it which would potentially cause back pain.Removed one star for overall rating due to only getting half of a rubber sleeve gasket, a few sizes should be included. Removed one star from durability because the handle pipe is very thin and works just fine, but I'm worried about durability in general. On the positive side, if it works out like I think it will, it is less weight with the thin handle bar / pipe.In the end, only time will tell. For now, first use, works as designed, great price, easy to install, made trimming less strain on my back.

I have lower back issues and have had for years. What a difference in the amount of stress and strain on my back. Easy to install and after making a few minor adjustments to the handle I was able to position the handle where it felt most comfortable for me. My edging equipment is a universal unit with variable attachments. The handle attaches easily to the main motor and shaft assembly so I do not need to move it from the edger, to the weed eater or the blower attachments. The handle makes each of the attachments more comfortable for me to operate.

Handle is lightweight because it's pretty cheaply made but does the trick. Handle angle is a bit awkward and not ergonomicly ideal. But it beats my 6'3 me having to bend over over when I trim my lawn..

I was reluctant at first on how this would help using my trimmer. It took a couple of time to place it exactly right for my height. Wow, no more bending over to use the trimmer. I was able to stand upright the whole time. After using the trimmer my back did not hurt which was a normal occurrence before I got this handle. Very easy to install.

Very cheaply and poorly made, would not fit my Dewalt weed trimmer.
