This strap is a back and hand saver! If you have carpal tunnel or back issues, this shoulder strap makes using your Milwaukee weed-eater so much easier and more comfortable. After using it a few times, I no longer experience numb hands from holding the weed-eater for extended periods. The strap allows my shoulders to bear most of the weight, significantly reducing strain on my hands and wrists.The build quality is solid, with decent padding on the shoulder strap for added comfort. The only minor downside is that the hardware that attaches the strap to the tool is pretty small, making it a bit tricky to secure the bolt and nut together. I would love to see a more heavy-duty attachment option in the future. Other than that, for $17 this strap is fantastic and makes a noticeable difference in usability!

Out of the package, this looked like a well-built weed eater strap. The shoulder pad feels slightly thicker than the pads on my other tools, and the strap seems durable. The approximately 2-inch-wide belt has no issues supporting my fairly lightweight EGO weed eater.The round coupler that wraps around the main pole of my EGO ST1520S (carbon fiber) was a bit too small. I had to bend the coupler to make it fit, which required some effort. Even after securing it around the carbon fiber pole, the two ends remained far apart. The included M6 20mm bolt was not long enough to bring the two halves together. Fortunately, I had an M6 25mm bolt that was just barely long enough to secure the coupler around the pole (see pic).The shoulder strap feels comfortable on my shoulder. One benefit I noticed right away was that the weed eater stayed at a consistent height, making it easier to maintain a level cutting position. This helped achieve a more even cut compared to holding it by hand.They included a hex wrench for the bolt and nut, but they should also provide a longer bolt to accommodate the weed eaters they claim this strap is compatible with. Overall, I like the strap and the metal hardware, but installation took some extra effort due to the coupler size and the need to find a suitable bolt.

I've had a Milwaukee weed eater for a few years now, and while it isn't a heavy tool prolonged use does cause your arms and shoulders to get tired. I had looked at the Milwaukee branded strap but decided against it because of the cost.I came across this off branded one and decided to give it a try. The strap that comes in the kit is great and seems to be built well. The color is also almost identical to the Milwaukee strap.The downfall of this product is how it actually attaches to the tool. I'm not sure where they got the measurement for the little metal strap, but they definitely made mine to small. I had to pry it open to get it onto the shaft and then once I got it on I found that the bolt was not long enough to go through the strap because the strap is too short. I used a pair of pliers to try and bend it to fit and finally got the nut started. Once it was right I found that the metal ring that the strap clips to was not able to move freely as it's supposed to. With the strap being to small the metal ring is pushed into the weed eater shaft which prevents it from moving freely.You could make a new strap out of some sheet metal if you really wanted too, but the manufacture should design their product so it actually fits what it's listed for.I really wanted to like this product, but because of the issues mentioned above I don't. I will still try it out this spring, but I don't imagine I'll keep it on my weed eater.For the price of this strap I'd spend a little more and just get the Milwaukee branded one.

Shoulder Strap for Outdoor Power Tools. According to the listing, this strap fits an M18 Quik-Lok system (power head) which is my tool; but it simply attaches to the tubular shaft, so you could attach it to just about any trimmer. It also works very well on my edger and extension hedge trimmer. M18 tools are heavy duty as well as heavy weight, so the strap is really helpful to support the weight of the tools. It is well made with rust resistant parts, so it should be a good long-lasting tool accessory. It’s a nice addition to my outdoor tools at an affordable price, and so I rate this strap as 5*.

Colors match perfectly on this strap with my M18 weedeater!Took about 5 min to setup, and a little elbow grease or a pair of pliers to tighten back up the metal after sliding over the pole. Pop in the screw, throw the nut on the other side and tighten up with the provided allen wrench.Took some playing around with the strap length and location, and I may end up moving it but this is going to make edging and quick level weedeating a breeze and take some of the work off my arms and shoulders.Great value, feels durable and looks good!

Size of the bolt was a bit too small to handle the diameter shaft for the unit I have.Otherwise the shoulder strap worked as intended on my Ryobi weed Wacker. I'm sure it'd fit better on a Milwaukee trimmer.
