These hooks work, I caught fish in them, however they have the potential to tear up the bait because of the weed guard- especially if fished wacky or neko style. These are slightly smaller than an eagle claw brand of the same size. The small eye with the weed guard can make it difficult to feed line and tie knots. Overall, these hooks are a solid value because they do the job, but if you are overly particular you may want to stick with a more well known brand.

I s skeptical about these hooks prior to my order, but made the order because they came in a bulk pack at a good price. These hooks work just as good as the ones that I have purchased at higher prices. Good product!

Pretty good but the weed guard could be a little more durable. it comes off the hook easily and could you get stuck on weeds.

The wire guard is trash. If it maintains its structural integrity after 1-2 fish, consider yourself lucky. The hook itself seems fine, but, man, the wire just unwinds from the hook shank so easily.Now that I’m writing about it, maybe it might be worthwhile to put a few dabs of superglue on the wire that’s wound around the shank.
