These measuring devices are easy to use and read. Using the adult measuring tool, I placed my feet in the device and was able to read a measurement at the toe and about a half size up. Technically, both measurements were accurate. The size selected depends on the type/brand of shoe purchased. I purchased two pairs of running shoes, one by Brooks and one by Nike. For the Brooks, I needed the additional half size for the shoe to feel comfortable. For the Nikes, I did not need the half size, the measurement at the toe was perfect. These shoe measurement tools are great for measuring shoe size for flats/loafers/tennis/running shoe styles.

This is a decent guide to help purchase shoes online. I will say, sizes vary between brands so double check their sizing against what you measured. My daughter was measuring as a size 1 but most size 1 shoes we’ve purchased so far are too big.

I was so tired of trying to guess my kids shoes sizes to buy online because hardly any stores carry everything in store nowadays. I was so glad when someone recommended these off Instagram. With 4 kids, I can easily measure what kid size or adult size even they will be needing. Should have bought these years ago!!!
