This machine is very easy to put together don't let all pieces fool you.. work out is very smooth and even ..The machine is very sturdy no rocking..just make sure you tighten all the bolts tight .. I give it a 5 out of 5..

Very easy set up and directions are pretty self explanatory. It's wobbly though but nothing you can really do about it. If you're smooth with your technique then you'll have no problem with it. Decent workout station.

Realistically this machine is about a 4, but I'm basing my 5 on the price as well. I paid $255 with coupon for it, and I don't think you can beat this machine for that price. It doesn't say it anywhere on the listing, but the arms do converge towards the center. I asked that in a Q&A but didn't get a response. So it's a bit of a combo of chest press and fly. The arms are a bit wobbly. Nothing crazy, but it's not like pushing on a commercial machine. I actually see that as a pro, not a con. Why? You have to use a bit of stabilizer muscles like a dumbbell. It depends on your goals though - if you're just trying to hit a high bench press weight, this won't really help. This to me feels like a hypertrophy machine, which is exactly what I bought it for. Go super slow and controlled, feel the burn.My only real complaint about the machine is that it needs more than just 2 settings for the bench. It only has flat or one incline angle, and it's awkward on incline. Decline would be great, along with better incline settings. I don't use the ab thing on it, so I don't know if that's good or not. I do use it for a shoulder press by facing in, leaning forward, and pressing.

Handles are way too far apart. I'm a wide dude and handles are too far out to the side. If you want a wide grip bench, this is for you.

The instructions are helpless, very vague and no actual instructions. Just pictures and numbers. They throw all the bolts in the same bag and want you to sort through the different variations of bolts, there is no step by step guide to assemble, just pieces and a thin owners manual that is of no help putting together.

I wish the instructions were more than 4 diagrams and the nuts and bolts could have been separated on a card to better display which ones were to be used. That said, I began assembly at midnight and wrapped up at 3AM. It may have gone faster had I not been drinking...hindsight. It's all together and much safer than using a bar without a spotter.

Quality is very sub par. Numerous paint gouges and scratches. Welding slag all over the place. Fitment issues with a few of the main structure pieces make building it unnecessarily difficult.I highly suggest you avoid this if you aren't a competent builder of things. If you're handy and own your own tools then you should be fine. This thing requires some modification to work right. I doubt it's possible to build it with the supplied tools. Get ready for a serious forearm pump if you don't have an impact gun.In use it's pretty good. Again, some minor modifications make it better. The flat bench is actually a decline bench because of the misalignments previously mentioned. I'm still considering the best course of action for this problem.All and all for the $550CAD I paid it's probably worth it. If this machine goes up in price by $100 then it's definitely not.
