I wish I had ordered this sooner because it could have saved me going all Spring and Summer long without my blanket. I have the Weighted Idea blanket that comes with the plush, quilted cover. But it’s warm and outside of the Winter months, I really can’t use it. I almost didn’t buy this cotton cover based on some sour reviews.Here’s the basics:1. It does fit. I have the smaller one (48x78) and it is a perfect measurement.2. It has 6 different ties. 1 in each corner and 1 in the middle on each side. If you get it anchored correctly, it works. The ties are nice. Even nicer than the thin ties the original blanket cover that comes with the blanket.3. It’s soft for cotton. This isn’t 1000 thread count and it’s not silk, but it’s comfortable for what it is.4. It works. It’s a LOT less hot!I high recommend this cover. The light gray is really neutral and I like it.

Absolutely vital to have a cover for weighted blanket. For price, surprisingly good quality natural fiber (100% cotton) and feels good against skin. Zipper seems cheap but also works fine so far. Zipper cover should be bigger (or zipper color should match fabrics color) bec white zipper glares unless you take time and effort to iron it down but who would do that these days?! Not I. Still, I would buy again. Be sure to wash before first use to reduce chemicals as cotton is laden with pesticides.

The blanket itself seems good but I didn't realize before that a 30 pd blanket over 80x87" is about the same weight per square inch as my 20 lb blanket that is 60x60ish. So this one is bigger but not heavier in comparison per inch.

If I slept 4 hours I felt like I'd really accomplished something. I kept seeing these blankets advertised and thinking - what??? Then a woman with RA (I have RA for 46 years already) wrote a review just in love with this blanket. I bought it that day. Loved the idea of a cooling blanket because I run a fever every day sometimes as high as 103.6 and I sleep hot. When the blanket arrived it felt very heavy but I checked and it was 15 lbs. so I put it on my bed and that night I crawled under the blanket. I slept 4 hours and had to use the bathroom so I came back to bed (this is the part where I can never get back to sleep), picked up the tv remote to put the news on and woke up 3 1/2 hrs. later with the tv remote still in my hand but I never made it as far as to turn the tv on. I was blown away. Not only did I sleep like. a log but I didn't feel quite as stiff. It's been a few months now and I sleep between 6 and 9 hours a night. I usually get up once to use the bathroom but then I'm right back to sleep. I still have an occasional night where I have a bad night because I overdid it during the day. or just have too much pain for whatever reason. I ended up buying a duvet for the weighted blanket. I share my bed with 2 dogs so I really needed the duvet. I bought the one from Weighted Ideas that matched my blanket. I no longer wake up in a pool of sweat during the night, no longer have to get up and change my night clothes because they're wet and clammy, I'm not hot and I'm not cold - I feel like. it's the perfect temperature all the time. The blanket does feel heavy when you're moving it around but it doesn't. feel heavy when it's on you. I've had no issue with the beads shifting or congregating on the edges etc. My 7lb chihuahua who's 18 years old wiggles her way underneath the weighted blanket and snuggles up against my side. How she does it I have no clue but I wake up most of the time with her right there. If you have trouble sleeping it's worth a try because I was a non-believer until I slept under one. Product was exactly as described. It fit perfectly around the weighted blanket that we had which was an awkward size and hard to find a cover for. Very pleased with this purchase.

My disappointment started when I put the blanket on my queen sized bed. The blanket only covered the top of the bed. I checked the invoice and while it did say 'queen size', it also said 60x80, which is not queen size. I had also purchased a cover for the blanket and that was very nice with a good zipper and easy to use. We tried it on the bed the long way and that was never going to work. It barely covered our bodies. I turned it side-ways and that was better, but left our lower legs and feet uncovered, though I did have a top sheet on the bed. We used it for 3 nights and that was it. While it really did feel good it's not for us. The little beads in it make it move too much and it ended up all on my side and ,y husband was cold. Maybe a king sized one would work better, but I'm not making that effort.

This is a great cover for your weighted blanket. Cause who in their right mind would want to wash their weighted blanket? It’s super heavy, as mine is the 20 lbs version. So this duvet cover works great, as it gets dirty and soiled and not your blanket. The material is nice enough, and I chose the cute animal prints. It’s not the softest or smoothest of cotton, but perhaps that will change with each washing?It has the cotton ties inside which is very useful if you don’t want a bundled up weighted blanket on your hands. Use the ties as they will keep the duvet cover and your blanket in order and in one piece. I didn’t see them the first time I used the duvet cover, and just slid the weighted blanket inside and within a few nights my blanket was a mess.

Had a hard time washing my weighted blanket, this is the perfect solution!! Lots of loops and ties to hold it I. Place!! No more worries about what to do with the glass bead weighted blanket when it gets dirty

Helps me fall asleep within minutes. I use it between my sheet and small comforter.... Hoping it will still be cool enough in the summer, but so far so good! Had it for 3 months now

I bought this item after reading a lot of good reviews. However, it did not work for my autistic son.We wanted to address the sleep issue that he has been getting for a couple of years. So we thought of giving it a go. I came to know about this product through SensaCalm but I did not have the budget for that, so settled for this one.
