Love my new workout buddy! Satisfied so far. Sturdy, adjustable straps for individualized comfort. The one caveat is that there is a very strong petroleum odor that takes a few weeks to dissipate. I sprinkled it with baking soda initially to try to decrease the overwhelming odor, but this didn't help. A few weeks out of the package, and the odor has diminished. Nonetheless, I appreciate this vest for increasing my workout potential and I hope that my bone density increases over time as I have heard from research.

I am a 6’ tall 185# male with a 42†chest, and 7.25†wrist. I ordered the 15# weighted vest, which came with 2 3# ankle/wrist straps and an arm bag. The high quality touches, combined with the extras, make this a high-quality vest worth paying a higher price for. I carefully inspected the stitching on all items, and the stitching was flawless.Vest: I’ve worn this vest on hikes, short runs, and my treadmill. It is comfortable and stays in place. If you poke it with a finger you can move the sand slightly, but it has stood in place over time and I’m satisfied it will continue to do so. I like the reflective strap retention bands. Without them the two chest straps would flop all over the place. There are loops you can use where the straps go over the vest arms. The netting on the back allows you to drop a 16oz. container into it. The buckles are heavy-duty. My only concern is the satiny fabric they used at the bottom edges of the arms and back. This is meant to reinforce high wear points, but I wish they had used more durable fabric like Cordura or the fabric they used on the inside of the ankle/wrist straps.Ankle/wrist straps: The ankle/wrist straps come with long hook-and-loop strips, and a D-ring. I wore them for half a day around my ankles and they remained comfortable and stable. I had slight rubbing after 5 hours but could have easily continued wearing them. The inside fabric looks like durable cordura, which is both tough and fairly breathable. They don’t have the weight noted on them. I wish they had a pull tab at the end. The hook-and-loop strip runs right to the end, making it hard to separate the hook from the loop.Arm bag: I really like this bag. It uses water resistant fabric on the outside and breathable fabric where it contacts the arm, uses weather resistant zippers, quality zipper pulls, and an elastic strap with two contact points which makes it easy to comfortably tighten. It had a crease sewn into the face that looks like a stitching defect, but it also appears in the seller photos so I assume it is by design.

I wear this vest when I'm doing chores around the house or working out. It doesn't feel like a lot of weight but when you take it off, you definitely notice the difference. It's easy to put on and remove and fits without feeling too bulky. The adjustable straps make it easy to put on different body types. My only complaint is that it has a slight chemical smell to it. I'm hoping in time will fade away.
