I purchased this because I found the IR on the blink cameras to not be so great. My car was broken into in my driveway and the standard blink IR didn’t even see it happen 🤦ðŸ¼â€â™‚ï¸. This lights up my entire driveway at night and I now am getting motion alerts from insects! The swivel mount is a nice feature aswell.

I installed this for my security camera as it was pointed more towards the house and I needed a little more IR down the side. This did the trick so well that I bough a second one for a blind spot that was by my shed. Get the right size based on the area you are wanting to paint. It works great. I will likely get one more for another area that is just slightly out of reach of my camera's IR.

Plug gets hot, led lights glow red, alley stays dark on my camera except for the street lamp. So far this product appears to be a scam. There is no difference with it off or on.Edit: My camera may be stuck in daylight mode. I bought this because the built in LEDs no longer work. Maybe the lens filter isn't flipping off also. So the light may be working fine.

I purchased the 12 LED IR floodlight last year and it absolutely rocks! Lights up my entire patio AND the road about 100 meters away. All my outdoor cameras can see in the dark now with perfect clarity. A must have for any security camera setup, indoors or outdoors.

Totally Solved The Problem of not being able to see at night past our long row of tall trees. Lit up thearea well. The IR Illuminator is placed outside and uncovered, but has held up well during rain, wind and heat. Good investment. Thank you!

This has been installed for about a month. It’s been subjected to a total of 3 rain showers in that time. I even added some silicone sealant around where the power leads go into the light, before installation, because I saw this as a potential weak spot in the design. Today, I happen to look up at it, and see water behind the lens….. not sure if it’s still working ( I’ll find out when it gets dark out), but as of right now, this item is a waste of money and is falsely represented. I’m sure it’s fine INDOORS, but it’s supposed to be designed for outdoor use….

makes your night vision camera come alive. the pic shows my entranceway which has one of these to the right and one to the left. been in service 6 months no issues.
