Absolutely remarkable product! Well made, simple, easy to install and grips perfectly on my Vulcan and ArcCaptain helmets. Cut to have the PROPER width and length to fill around helmet and neck to keep reflections off AND if you're back is to the sun - the SUN! Really should have bought this years ago. Something so simple, and I can speak for it's 'flame retardant' conjecture but just KEEPING reflected arc-light and sun light OUT of my helmet is worth the price!

Keeps sparks and dirt from falling on your neck and this product does a great job. Seems to last too, I have washed it a few times and it still goes on helmet good.

This helmet cover fits my Optrel Crystal 2.0 welding helmet nicely. My helmet has a curved ridge on the back which makes the fit even better so that it does not fall off. This provides shade inside the helmet to see my parts without glare from overhead lights. It's a nice addition. I would purchase again.

I bought this more for stopping external light from bleeding into my welding helmet and making it harder to see the puddle/weld. Extra added benefit is that it will keep sparks from other welders (college metal sculpture course/lab) from going down the back of my shirt. It is amazing how some folks can MIG weld and shoot sparks everywhere! Improved my ability to see what I am welding immensely. I also advise using a cheater lens in your helmet to improve your ability to "see the weld."

This fits my Yes Welder Helmet very nicely and provides a dark backdrop behind the helmet so I can see better. Would recommend.
