This is a better tip cleaning set than most, the files are a bit shorter than some but seem to be a little sturdier making them better for rounding the bottom of guitar nut slots. Tip: buy yourself at least 3 actual nut files for the thinnest string gauge slots and then a set of micro files for the larger gauge string slots and a set of these to round the bottoms to remove file burrs that keep the strings from laying solidly in the slots and cause string fuzz and buzz you know that sitar sound that has you baffled on that one string, these will cure that problem, they round the bottom of the string slot way better than Stew Mac's gauged nut files do.

Good price. The spring-loaded rivet tens to come apart, potentially scattering tips all over the floor. So far, I've used three sizes successfully and I don't own a welder.

This item is worthless. Do NOT waste your money or time on this. Terrible design. The cleaning files are attached to a two part brass pin that sits within the cheap case. The two part brass pin is held in place by the spring tension pushing against two little knobs on the case. Any slight pressure and the brass pin jumps over the knob, causing the two part brass pin to come apart and all of the cleaning files fall apart rendering this item worthless. This looks nice, but that is all. Never would this work for any time in a real work situation. What were they thinking?

It's funny to see all the different reasons people use these for. Mine never fell apart in the 2 years I was in my main welding program and had to occasionally clean the track burner orifices. The only problem is that it seems like none of them fit certain holes. Also hard to tell what sizes they are.

I use this to clean the gas jets on my Weber gas BBQ grill. Over time, the grease from what I am grilling drops down and plugs the holes where the gas comes out. While tedious, I use this tool to clear the holes which in some cases and completely blocked. Works like a charm.

The whole thing fell apart on me during class. Looked kinda stupid. They function individually though.

I bought this to cut string grooves in brass, compensated barrels on a Telecaster bridge. Worked great. Good assortment of sizes and cheap.

Works well for cleaning out the hot end of my 3D printer.

Does the job. I use it file the slots in my guitar and bass nuts (can't make a new nut with these, but they're really good at making bigger grooves to help with action and to allow the strings to sit more properly)

if you work in a state of the art laboratory and use this, it will last. if you work in an industry where this is actually used, it won't last a day. can't fully blame this, the price reflects its quality

Literally just threw out my tip cleaners, these ones... Why? After 3 uses my container fell apart and the brass tube holding my tip cleaners in catastrophically failed sending my tip cleaners everywhere. Make lasting joints over money saving installs US forge.
