This flying disc has been super durable so far after using it 3-4 months. There's been a half-dozen occasions where I inadvertently let our (stronger than expected, highly energetic) Springer Spaniel gnaw on it for 3-5 minutes, and there's been no damage. Every other flying disc, toy, bone, stuffed animal, he tears up to unrecognition within 30 seconds of being unattended. So VERY high marks for durability. Of course I don't plan to let him gnaw on if for an hour. And of course with your dog's breed and personality you might have a different experience. But high marks for me (I still bought 4 more of these just in case LOL)Despite the durability this is made with a very soft, mailable plastic (rubber?) . Very easy to grip. Easy for the dog to catch. No worry about broken teeth, etcBest yet - this is very easy to throw: this Seaflex model has a great design where if you can just get it high in the air a bit it kinda gets to an apex and drops down slowly/vertically, in a way that makes it easy for the dog to track it and catch it, even if your throw is off target. So in that way it's very forgiving for a novice thrower. In general, if you're not an expert thrower, I highly recommend a style of disk with the hole in the middle. Yeah it won't go as far distance-wise, but it makes it less prone to it going way off target, and it'll be much easier for your dog to track and catch, just because it falls to the earth it a more controlled, predictable manner.As I said above, I just placed an order for 4 more of these. When I find the one I like, I stock up while I can still find the thing.

This is one of my dogs favorites! Very sturdy! Great quality! My first one I had for 2 years before it tore in half from tug a war.

We have 2 German Shepherds and these guys play incredible tug of war games. We go thru one of these every week. It starts with a small hole in the plastic from their teeth and before you know it the ring is broken. If anyone finds a truly indestructible frisbee, please let us know! Our frisbee budget has been $80 per month !!

My dog loves this frisbee. She chews it while playing fetch and likes to show off her frisbee. She has tried a lot of them but this one has been her favorite with the loop hole for her to grab. It lasted about a month with constant play and started breaking down into large pieces at around 45 days. It has lasted longer than others but not as long as I would like making it 4/5 stars.

My dogs love this Frisbee. I have chewers that destroy toys in minutes but this Frisbee is durable, great for chewers and destroyers lol. It's the only toy they want to play with! The size is just right, great value for the money,

I bought 2 toys from West Paw due to only ones my dog cannot tear up. Unfortunately he had this disk tore up with the hour! Not made of same tough material and too thin!

The material is soft enough to be flexible but strong enough to withstand my two large dogs playing tug-of-war and gnawing on it. It's been over a month and this is still intact.

Dog loves it, great on his mouth and easy to clean. However it is pricey and quite heavy so keep it away from fast flowing water - on number 2 now as the wind caught it, it landed in the Thames and away it sailed!
