We own two pairs of these for home use and they've been through almost three years of use and still work great. I have bought more during the Amazon back to school sales to send with the kids to school so we wouldn't lose the pairs we have. I even sent one to my dad, a teacher, so he can use them for quick cutting jobs in his classroom. I feel these, and all westcott children's scissors, are higher quality than fiskers. We've had a few pairs of fiskers come and go but these stand the test of time. The handles stay soft and the blades (which start off lined up perfectly) stay lined up, our pairs have yet to loosen up. My one complaint was not being able to choose the color but luckily we received the exact color we wanted.

Highly recommend for ages 4-6. Great for the house & art projects. Could also go to school too.

I bought the left-handed scissors so I could snip gauze and the white medical tape when I have a cut on my right hand; may right-handed scissors finally gave up the ghost, so I got these. Low, or no, pressure and they will snip tape and/or gauze zip-zip. I'd like them a bit smaller (they're about 5", read the dealy thing, IDK) so they'd fit in my First Aid kit easier, but oh, well. GREAT SCISSORS; EXCELLENT VALUE.

Have had these scissors for years, they have lasted well, still sharp. Good size, nice grip, very recommended.

I mean they do what we need them to but when they came they were dirty for some reason. Like they had been used and repackaged
