The packaging on this item is not great - It has a thin plastic casing that houses the pieces and that has one hole punch for keeping in the binder. That said - the price was right and my daughter (a high school sophomore) tells me it's the best compass she's ever used. So 5-stars for the parts, but be wary if you are buying for the "kit" element.

Its a nice little set which comes with its own pouch which is handy. Everything is reasonably sturdy and works well.

Very cheap set. The items have sticky stuff on them when you take them out of the case. The compass broke when first ordered the set and a replacement set was sent to us. That compass and ruler broke as well. Would not recommend.

It's been about a half century since I needed protractors and compasses for school, but realized I sometimes wished I had them again when I'm trying to draw specific angles or circles for household projects. I found this inexpensive set on Amazon, and it's just what I need. The plastic purch is a convenient way to keep them together at my desk, so I don't have to go searching for a tool when I need it. As others have pointed out, they are cheap plastic things, but that's all I need.

I was surprised at first at how small the protractor and triangles were, but they are the perfect size for use in a standard notebook or binder. I really like the mechanical pencil compass as well. It all comes in a clear plastic pouch that snaps flat and will fit inside most pencil cases.

Product is cheaply made, mainly due to a very useless compass. I have decided to try to use the shapes with my ruler foot if possible. If you replace the compass the set is great to teach children about drawing shapes, but as is it lacks usefulness due to the compass. Lead doesnot stay in place.

My main issue with this item was actually the pouch. Somewhere between the factory and my dorm, the plastic of the pouch had adhered itself to the plastic of the ruler, protractor, and triangles. I actually had to cut through the plastic covering the ruler to get it out because just pulling on the end didn't do anything. The pouch also left rough, less-than-transparent blotches on the aforementioned plastic items. In the end, the only part of the set I was happy with was the compass. It does its job and the lead is refillable (refills are included) like a mechanical pencil.

All your geometric needs in a convenient case. The one I ordered came without a sharp tip in the compass. The company sent a replacement kit right away. Thank you for making an affordable product.

Der runde Winkelmesser war nicht zu gebrauchen weil auf der Oberfläche ausgehärtete Kleberreste oder ähnliches war - außerdem war bei der Lieferung kein Zirkel mit dabei.... vllt. hatten wir nur Pech aber schon irgendwie seltsam.
