I recently purchased the Western Digital 1TB 5400RPM 16MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 2.5inch Hard Drive to upgrade my PlayStation 4, and it has been a fantastic decision. The installation process was straightforward, and I was up and running in no time. The 1TB capacity provides ample storage for all my games, apps, and media files. It's a significant improvement over the original drive, and I no longer have to worry about running out of space. The 5400RPM speed ensures smooth and reliable performance, with quick load times and seamless gameplay. The hard drive operates quietly, so it doesn't add any unnecessary noise to my gaming experience. The build quality is excellent, and I feel confident that it will last for a long time.Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. If you're looking to upgrade your PlayStation 4's storage, the Western Digital 1TB Hard Drive is a perfect choice. It offers great performance, reliability, and plenty of space for all your gaming needs. Highly recommended!

Got this as a temporary solution to my mini Beelink PC running out of storage on the main SSD. I’ll get something with more storage at a later date. After installing it, I had to set it up in Disk Management and then everything was good to go. I stuck most of my Steam Library onto it and all the games seem to run smoothly. If I run into issues I will report back, but so far I am very pleased with this hard drive and the price was great compared to others of the same storage size.

I had two of these drives to upgrade the HDD in my PS3. The first would not format and install the OS. At first, I thought that maybe I was doing something wrong on the PS3, but trying it on my PC resulted in a lot of bad sectors on the drive. I returned it and asked for a replacement. The second drive worked as intended and has been a great replacement in my PS3.

Fitment and function is perfect, make sure you have a USB Thumb drive of at least 4gb with the latest (12.0 as of this writing) initializing firmware to restart and configure your new drive.

I bought it for the ps4, at first I tried it on the console and nothing, then I tried to format it from the computer thinking it had some content but it is not able to be read.
