Bought a house built in the late 80s, old hunter fan that still runs fine, but had no light. After going to Lowe’s and Home Depot seeing no one stocked the brass finish kits anymore, ordered this. Install is simple, took 5 minutes. Light bulbs that come with are dim, so upgraded them to 60w and now it’s perfect.

I'm very pleased with this light kit. I wasn't impressed at first but after we installed it, it was more than I expected. Very classy looking light kit, frosted votive cups are perfect for what I was going for in our living room. The light is bright but soft at the same time. It was fairly easy to install. We had to do more substantial work to install it but that was because of the previous home owners, not anything to do with the seller. We couldn't be any happier with this purchase. Thank you for a good quality product and professional customer service. I will recommend to anyone looking for a light kit to purchase.

My mother has a very good 1980s ceiling fan, that was installed by the home builder, that did not have a light kit. Because of it’s age, I was having a difficult time finding a light kit that would work with it. I thought about replacing the fan, but the fan works well. Due to it’s age, if I replaced it, it would probably end up being trashed, and I hate unnecessary waste. This light kit was perfect for the fan. Although, I feel it was a bit over priced, it was cheaper than buying a new fan and it the kit looks good and provides bright overhead light. When the kit arrived the light globes were broken. I don’t live in the same city as my mother and was in town only a few days, so I had a limited time to get the kit installed and didn’t have time to wait for a replacement. So, I went to Lowe’s and found the same matching globes that came with the kit. They cost me an additional $17.50. Had it not been for the broken globes, I would have rated the value for the money and the overall rating at least 1 star higher.

Old 45 year old brass finish Hunter fan was in need of a light kit and this kit fit perfect. Even the brass finish matched perfectly. Easy well laid out instructions. Simple two wire connections. Well crafted glass lamps and bulbs included as well. The old fan was happy.

This light kit is a great option for anyone needing to add lights to an existing ceiling fan. I have a large room that only had a single light fixture in the middle and two ceiling fans on either side of it. With the existing light and now two light kits, the room has good, usable light.I was confused as to how these kits installed to the fan so I took a few pictures that could help answer someone else’s questions. These kits mount to the plates, rather than replace the plates.For the “brand new,†full price option, I feel like these are a bit expensive. I took a gamble and ordered the “like new†option at about half the price. I’m so glad that I did because there was zero evidence that these had been purchased and returned or had ever even been opened before. No damage or missing parts. At half the price of brand new, these are a fantastic value.

Bought to replace light on fan, box was beat up and upon opening notice I got a return item when I purchased a new one. Light bulb holder was broken and screws were all over the place. I would have returned it but thought about gluing the pieces back together. Extremely disappointed.
