I bought there to use in face masks and worked wonderfully. They are thick and strong. They are flat so they don't hurt your nose bridge.

We're using these to make nose bridges in facemasks for personal PPE. We folded the ends in about 1in to make them fit the mask pattern. Fit is good and they seem sturdy enough to handle multiple reforming as the masks are laundered without them in place.

I needed to cut each one in half, and while they are pliable enough for the mask, the wire is sturdier than in a simple twist tie. They arrived in the expected time frame and I am quite satisfied with the seller and the product.

I can confirm that this is a heavy-duty twist tie ... it is the same width as a "normal" twist tie (5/32 inch), but it has two wires in it, and each wire is heavier gauge (#23 AWG as measured with a micrometer) compared to a normal twist tie. Also the plastic around it is really tough and solidly bound to the wire, making it exceptionally strong and durable. Excellent product.

My first purchase of the black heavy duty double wires were great for nose wire used for my face mask. I have tried different brands and the black ones are the best for the job with heavy gauge #23. It's washable and can be reshaped. I reordered wires in clear plastic and overlooked at the gauge #. I was very disappointed when I received them. and noticed they were thinner and less sturdy. I looked back at my order and realized the detail description of the clear and white plastics are at gauge #24. Lesson for me to double check on detail description of all my purchase products. I used a plier to fold the edges in hope to prevent sharp wires to poke through mask fabric and cause injury.

These are seriously tough twist ties. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is that I've started using the AusKit rubber gear ties (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01F76AVDM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1), which I like better.

At last a stable source for facemask nose wires.Others are too weak or too inflexible; these bend to hug the nose and cheekbones, yet hold their shape in wearing.

I purchased these to use in making masks. I cut them in half. They seem sturdy and I hope they will hold up better than regular twist n ties.
