I bought this product as a gift for my nephew who will be turning five in January. I took it to our Thanksgiving celebration because I thought it would keep the kids entertained. He and his older sister (7) had a great time with it and we played it off and on throughout the afternoon. The other adults also seemed to enjoy it, and I thought it was pretty fun. I bought one which allowed you to turn off the sound and had different game modes. Turning off the sound was not so helpful because the noise of the hammers hitting the toy is pretty loud. The kids really enjoyed the “coin†operated function, however, and it was nice to be able to switch from single to double mode.

I bought it for a 3-year-old child but all of the kids (even the teen and the adults) enjoyed having a go at it! There are different ways in which to play so that keeps it interesting. Nothing is complicated about it. It's just fun! I can be played with one player or two, which was an important option to us.

Bought this for my 3 year old grandson for Christmas. He loved it! The whole family kept playing it all through the holidays. The teenagers loved having competitions. Got them off their phones for a bit. The sound of pounding got interesting haha but it wasn’t deafening as the little mallets are soft yet sturdy. Definitely recommend!

It was more durable than I imagined it would be - our 10 year old granddaughter hit it harder than the 5 year old and I wasn't worried it would not last. I feel it is geared more towards the 5 year old. It is very colorful and the lights are nice. I would recommend this toy.

Have a 1 year old and a 4 year old who love playing this together. Great way for them to play together and not get upset that one has something the other doesn't.

This was half purchased for grandpa who uses the phrase “whack a mole†all the time and loved the 70’s arcade game. They had fun playing it once but t doesn’t work all that well. If you have - toddler pounding is the name of the game if you want to keep score it doesn’t register if you hit a lit upMole!!
