My dishwasher quit working Monday evening. Did a little Google research and found out that the control panel was bad. Ordered this part later that evening and it was delivered early Wednesday afternoon. I just finished the 10 minute install and everything works fine now. Certainly beats buying a new dishwasher at today’s prices.

My Whirlpool Quiet Partner II model: DU1055XTVS8Had a short in the original touch pad. The light for Normal cycle began blinking. Looked up the problem and ordered this part. Watched a YouTube video on how to replace a similar model. ( this did was a two person job for me, we needed some one as support holding the touch pad while another person popped the tabs holding the components in place) installation was even quicker than disassembly. Powered the dish washer back on and it worked perfectly!Part seems expensive but in the end $150 part vs a $498 new unit seemed pretty obvious of a choice to make! ðŸ˜

Overall relatively easy to install. Perhaps with some efforts one could replace just the top part (6 screws), but I did the whole thing, top panel and main panel. That was more work to put it back,there were two notches I had to chip away before the panel door would fit back in.Looking at this plastic and motherboard, that's a lot of money for what should probably be $25-50.

My panel was fried. It would mostly not respond, and usually the lights would be dimly lit, but wouldn't function. It's a simple install (6 torx head screws), and you have to pop the control board and another small piece off of the old one with push clips and transfer them to the new panel, but that's it. Mine came well packaged in a Whirlpool reconditioned part box. No complaints!

I ordered a touchpad and control panel for my dishwasher. The touchpad arrived but no control panel. I was instructed to contact the mfg. After about a 20 minute wait, my call was answered. The lady gave me another number to call and after a 30 minute wait, my call was answered. The guy told me to call Amazon. Back to square one. By this time, I decided to just send the item back. That is 1 hour of my life I can never get back. These companies love to jerk you around.

The control panel is nothing more than a piece of plastic with a ribbon cable. I had to go to YouTube to figure out how to install it. It was an easy install once you knew how to release the cllips.

I ordered this cause all i could find was black, even though my dishwasher is white. I tried to cancel it after having second thoughts and I found a white one on another site but it was too late, it had already shipped. When it arrived I thought about returning it, but I didn't want to pay for return shipping. I installed it, and let me say it looks awesome! It looks like brand new! Oh and it resolved the months of blinking lights and resets. It was really easy to install and it was a lot cheaper than a new dishwasher.
