I buy this hose and use it daily to fill up my jet vac truck from hydrants. I use adapters to 2.5 inch becuase it's easier to handle the 2 inch quick connect hose. They have heavy duty crimp connections and the quick connects are made well. Good hose at a good price. I bought a 100 ' hose in 2018 and it's on my truck and I use it sometimes and the only leaks are caused by damage , the hose is intact on its own ! I have tried several lay flat hose brands and this is one of the better ones. It does not have the PVC cover so it is a little harder to pull by hand but after several weeks of use I have found zero leaks. One thing I found funny was that the hose is labeled as being from “firehosedirect.com†while also labeled as “do not use as a fire hoseâ€.

Everything about this hose is very well made, all but the hinge pins, which are rusting already. I put the hose in place in the pasture maybe two weeks ago, and even though the camlock levers work just fine and smooth, the pins the levers pivot on are rusting. All else seems very good quality though.

I purchased a Honda 2-inch trash pump because of the fires in Northern CA and boy does the fire hose and trash pump put out a lot of water. Better hold on.
