Exactly the rod I wanted - but I wanted solid white. Had to paint the brass ends. Why isn't this available anywhere in plain white

It's fine for our use, which is a curtain on an outside door. It comes with screws and bracket, but not with wall anchors. We didn't need them, as the door is solid wood. It's sturdy enough, but we haven't extended it beyond the 18". I just don't understand why the brackets and screws are painted white, but the tips on this are brass.

The price was right and the rods work, but the plastic looks kind of cheap.

Easy to put up. Does what it says it's for, just wish the metal used to make this rod was a bit sturdier, stronger or heavier......closer to the old one I was replacing from the 1990's.
