Great addition to reinforce the trans mount. Really help reduce transmission movement. It has some mechanical noise and vibration. But not too bad. Has better feedback. Easy install. Took like 40 min to do. I paired this with Perrin shifter bushing. Because Race Car:)

Super easy install just look up the how to on the gt86club forums. Just takes a ratchet and a 10mm, 14mm, 17mm sockets and an hour of your time. I absolutely feel a difference but I also installed simultaneously with the Perrin Shifter bushing. With both of those and motul tranny fluid this car easily has the best feeling transmission of any car I've ever driven

I think most FR-S/BRZ/86 owners know that really crappy feeling of having to "force" a 1-2 shift before the transmission warms up. This completely gets rid of that and makes the shifter much more precise. This mod, I think, is the best value of all the mods I've done.I have this + TRD Shortshifter + MTec springs, with a weighted 470g shift knob, and it feels amazing. It's very precise, but maybe a little less smooth than an S2000/Type-R shifter.This WILL result in a high-pitched transmission whine that's transmitted to the cabin. It's minimal at cruising RPM's but definitely gets louder the higher you rev. It honestly sounds amazing. I have Tomei UEL headers and a resonated front pipe with the rest of my exhaust being stock. It's a relatively quiet setup, but that high-pitched whine on acceleration sounds amazing with it.

Product required a little "muscle" to install, ut was simple enough. Shift feel was improved, but it comes at the cost of stiffness and noise feedback (not a problem for me).

I got this one specifically because I wanted the black instead of the yellow. Probably not the best reasoning because no one will ever see it except for you, but who cares?This bushing installs very easily and makes a big difference in drivetrain motion:http://youtu.be/dLzMO6_ZNHk?t=22sAll you'll need is a jack, jackstands, torque wrench, and about 20 minutes. Just be sure to support your transmission with your jack when you take off the brace holding it up! Your driveshaft and differential were not meant to take that kind of load.Ask away if you've got questions, I'll answer 'em.

Perfect for the GT86 platform. Really nice and smooth install just remove the cover underneath and unscrew the main 17mm bolt and raise the trans. You should be able to slip the bushing in easy. Pairs well with a rear shifter bushing.

installed in combination with Perrin rear shifter bushing change and Motul 300 75W90 fluid change to trans and diff - immediate results noted in reducing slop, improving positive feel and reducing the notchiness. NVH did increase a little, but not too much. Very glad I installed this.

I liked everything about this part being installed, but how come no one ever mentions installing a Perrin transmission mount support too? 🤔
