This thing was awesome. My router is older and it took some time to install but once in it TORE through my project and did amazing working through the side for my t-track molding. Excellent tool!

I made the stupid mistake of putting this the wrong way (I just was not thinking) and it cut - but there was a lot of smoke. Once I got it the right way - it was amazing. It just slices through cutting a nice little slot for my T-Molding (in 3/4" Ply). It deposits quite a lot of saw dust on my right solder. I cannot see this going blunt any time soon. Better made than all those cheep routing bit sets you can buy (that go blunt in no time).If you want to cut a 1/16" slot in some wood - this is the thing to get!I combined this with the 1/4" Shank x 2-3/8" Arbor w/Bearing, Whiteside# A200B - also selling on Amazon.

Unless they sent me a defective slot cutter, it did not cut a big enough slot for Arcade t-molding 3/4â€. Way too tight.

I'm not a hard core wood-worker. An occasional weekend project will push the limits of my abilities. That being said this product was easy enough to figure out and of more than adequate quality for my project. It is easy enough to install the blade upside down, and have it not spin the right way resulting in smoke and damage to the bit... but pay attention and you will catch this and fix it in time. Good product.

Used in a handheld router to cut a slot on the edge of plywood for tmolding for arcade cabinets.cut a smooth slot around curves and straight edges.

I bought this to use along with the 1/4" Shank x 2-3/8" Arbor w/Bearing, Whiteside# A200B for cutting the t-molding on my MAME arcade! Overall it is a great product and made the cut to fit exactly as expected!1 big piece of advice: make sure you put it on the correct way, if it is on and spinning backwards it will cause your MDF to smoke!

Combined with the A200B arbor, this works very well.
