I'm using this with the Leigh D4 jig, it makes very neat cuts with no tear out so far. I can judge the cutting quality of a bit by the dust it produces, and this one is quite good. I don't know how long the edge will stay sharp, that will hopefully take a long time to see any change in cutting quality.

I've been a serious amateur woodworker for about 30 years now. I've tried lots of different brands of router bits, but once I tried Whiteside about 10 years ago, I quit looking at others unless I get in a time crunch and run down to the big box store to buy a bit to get me going again. Whiteside bits cut smoother and stay sharp longer. I've already made about a dozen drawers with this dovetail bit and it still cuts like new.
