I purchased a number of those units to assemble for storage. I had read the reviews prior to purchase, and so also ordered the plastic ties along with it. The assembly went a bit slow at first, until I got the hang of it, and then it all worked very well. Turns out that I didn't quite need the tie clips -although once I settle into the use of the cubes, I will use the ties to "lock" them together. The plastic connectors do a fair job of holding the wire panels, though, and the resulting assembly is fairly study for clothing including jeans and pants. During assembly, it helps to squeeze the panels together to get a tight fit - but DO NOT STRIKE THEM or use too much force, as the plastic connectors are brittle and will snap with too much applied force. There are sufficient connectors available based on one's configuration of choice.I also combined different ones (black & white) for a nice design, and realized that the dimensions are not quite accurate, as what I had purchased indicated different dimensions, but they turned out to be exactly the same, and I would assume that is the same for the other differently branded ones once the general sizes are similar. Another thing, is that I also created some "double sized" sections with no center vertical support, and this also works well, as the single cube size is not optimum for storing of folded clothes - takes 1 stack easily, but not 2, however, a double easily takes 3 stacks, so I get more efficient use of the cubes.Planning to purchase more of them.

I did NOT make a bunny cage, I used it for storage.I can only give a 5 star score, since 4.5 isn't an option.Basically, it is what it says on the tin. A few people said it required tools or a lot of brute force, they might not have been doing it right. It snapped together easily, it's very stable, I did NOT need the zip ties to reinforce it. It's holding textbooks, shoes, and heavy reams of paper without any problem. Made three shelves and a bin like on the box, though I put the bin ont he other side, and there are a lot of combination. Two extra connectors and one panel let you change how you have it as well. I could tell how strong the connectors were when I tried to disconnect it to change how I had it, not easy, which is good.I ended up cutting up a box and using the zip ties to make cardboard floors, so I could stow small things there.Only 2 minor problems, the instructions sucked and I kind of had to figure it out on my own. It's somewhat wobbly when empty, but the weight of stuff keeps it down. But what did you expect for 20 dollar wire panels? All in all worth it if you want storage on the cheap. Great for dorms.

This turned out to be a good solution for extra closet storage worked into a corner. We bought two sets, which worked well for us. We used our own configuration to fit the space, not one pictured in the directions. We ran out of the plastic connectors supplied with the kit because we created more corners with our setup. We also have a few leftover panels, see below on that.Big thing is what others have said: they will come apart of you try to move them. Solution is also what others have said: zip-tie. After the zip-ties they are very sturdy and I can move them as needed. Also, the zip-ties will let me use the leftover panels and create some extra shelf space between the main ones.Recommended as long as you know their connection system doesn't like panels moving around much.

I bought two sets of these and some zip ties - like many, I wanted them for a C&C cage for our guinea pig. I figured, two sets of storage cubes would still be cheaper than a pair of Midwest cages shoved together, and in our circumstances, also provide more space (we aren't putting a "grid lid" on it) - win all around.(Feel free to skip this paragraph - it's backstory.) We received Miss Piggy from a neighbor in a store-bought cage, and after doing a bit of research, found out how insufficient those are (space-wise) for a guinea pig! Our first go-to, since money was an issue, was to pick up a hard-set kiddie pool, put a thin layer of just-in-case bedding in it, and some cardboard boxes with holes cut so she could at least have a play area. That worked fine, but we couldn't leave her in there ALL the time, and our attempts to add a "loft" to the interior of her cage were utterly unsatisfactory. Even the crinkle tube we rigged to the top of the cage became problematic after a couple weeks; while she could make the leap to get into it like a champ, the noise of that at all hours in an otherwise-silent house had all three of my boys getting up to investigate! We had to look for other options and discovered C&C pictures that piqued our interest... and now you're up to speed.Well, our C&C cage is missing one of the C's. We happen to be fortunate in that one of the boys' beds is a bunk that used to have a slide, with nothing but play area underneath. That space didn't get much use until we cleared out the toys and installed the cage using these cubes under there! We've got a thin sheet of plastic under the fleece (thank you, Internet, for explaining that we don't actually have to keep buying messy bedding!), and since that's on the floor, we don't need the corrugated plastic at this point. Miss Piggy started with a plain rectangular 3x5 area. I realized today that we had enough leftover connectors and grid squares to add on a 1x2 "kitchen" area that sticks out from under the bunk bed, nearest to the wall under a window, which similarly was not getting much use. Not to be outdone, my boys decided that it would "get her some exercise" if we added a few "walls" inside the 3x5 block, so now it looks sort of like a maze with some holey cardboard boxes strewn along the way so she can hide as she goes. Pellet food and water go in the "kitchen," farthest from her salt wheel and hay tray. For a few minutes she just sat there when we put her in. Before long, those wonderful wheeks started and she popcorned like crazy and ventured out of the kitchen in full explorer mode!I know that sometime in the future, we're going to want to make additions and alterations in order to shift some of that horizontal sprawl upwards. For now, though, even without the corrugated plastic, I feel like we have given our baby girl a good outcome. She loves all the space to run around, plus we can easily shift the cage contents to keep her interested in exploring. I love that this arrived on time, and that the connectors were fairly easy to use (it did require some serious pushing, at times, but that just made me feel confident it would hold its configuration). I'm honestly not sure what other reviewers meant when they said they had bad experiences with the connectors; maybe by avoiding the "lid" and the "bottom" we avoided those issues. At any rate, we're delighted with this product, and likely to buy more in the future. Next step - using Miss Piggy's old cage as a "quarantine" chamber, and hopefully adding another piggy! C:

Using this product in a very unconventional way my partner and I made a DIY guinea pig C&C cage out of it.The material is very sturdy and is easy to assemble and once done it provides ample space to create your own guinea pig habitat in it. We have this arrangement for two 1 year old guinea pigs. Our piggies sure did thank us by popcorning all around the place. 😊😊
