The iron fits in the rack kind of loose and my iron is pretty substantial. The rack probably has to have a large margin of error because of the vastly different iron shapes. Mine is $20 and looks like it could have been made in the 1920s. My last iron was $100 an looked like a speedboat. I don't doubt that both would fit in the holder. I'm sure I can bend it to fit more securely; just haven't tried. It was easy to adjust the holder to fit my four-leg board with just my hands.I'd planned to surface mount it but my closet door has a recessed panel where I would need to mount it. I may add a 1x6 block on the inside of the door to support the holder and mount it. I don't like all the clanking from the the over-the-door installation. I hated over the door racks when I lived in an apartment with hollow doors. The solid door muffles the sound a bit.The over-the-door clip is low profile and allows the door to function normally.The wad of tape is the mounting hardware. I knew I'd lose it elsewhere. Ignore it.

Bought for a Rowenta iron.The caddy is well made and the plastic coating is smooth and clean. My Rowenta iron model DZ 5939 does not fit in the holder even though a few reviews claim Rowenta does. After bending the wires, the iron sits in the holder loosely and feels like it can fall out at any time. I bended the wires back to original position. Just before repackaging, I placed the iron upside down in the caddy and it fit like a glove. The iron fit securely and snugly. It was easy to remove and replace in the caddy. I would say its a perfect caddy if one wants to store a Rowenta iron upside down. No photos of any caddy on Amazon, that I know of, shows any iron upside-down in the caddy. Price point is perfect. Will return for a right side up caddy that will hold a Rowenta iron. UPDATE: After making a few minor adjustments to the caddy, the iron fits well and secure. I have updated review from two to four stars. I recommend this caddy and would purchase again.

It's good quality, it just doesn't fit the Y leg boards like they say it does. It will work great though when I get a new T ironing board that I've been needing but if you have Y legs it is difficult to get in and out of. It holds the iron great though as long as the board pushes against it slightly, which mine does.

This over the door iron and ironing board holder is AWESOME! It fits the door perfectly and hold the ironing board and Rowenta iron perfectly! I looked high and low at the brick and mortar stores and couldn't find something that would hold my "V" or "Y" shaped legs on my ironing board. This holder is designed for either a "T" shape or ironing boards with "V" shaped legs. I hung the holder over the door and then gently bent the arms of the holder so it would accommodate my ironing board. It was super easy to do and my board fit after the initial adjustment of the arms. The holder is a nice weight as it seems sturdy but not too heavy on the door. I seriously could not be happier with this product!

Perfect inexpensive hanger that was easy to mount and does the job. It's sturdy and easily supports an ironing board and iron.I even managed to place my can of spray starch lengthwise on top of the hooks the ironing board hangs on. Gets my board off the floor and always being in the way in the laundry room. You can't go wrong with this.
