WHJY Ceramic, Japanese Sake Cups, Traditional Chinese Kung Fu Tea cups
A small wide-mouth jianzhan cup with a small base, designed after Song Dynasty (960-1279) style matcha bowls. Each small cup is dappled with streaks of different colors where the glaze drips down the sides and changes color while firing in the kiln. Each piece has a unique pattern. This particular technique of creating a mix of colors in the kiln became popular in the Qing Dynasty in the late 17th century, and requires temperatures of over 1200°C (2192°F).
Great for serving small portions of tea or sake.

Arrived well boxed and undamaged - lots of protective bubble wrap and individual cups are protected by cardboard dividers inside of a thicker decorative cardboard box. Perfect soju cups. My family loved it - looks and feels of good quality and authentic. Also ideal for tea. It was a gift for a relative who is obsessed with K-dramas…along with soju, the grand finale! He loved it.

I love these cups, they’re very very well made. However, the way they are packaged does not protect them from impacts. Your package may change many hands and suffer many falls so you may end up with chipped cups like I did. I won’t be able to use this cup for hot tea in risk of it spilling which is quite disappointing, though I have 5 others which will take its place.

Disappointed with these cups as I had recently bought them as a Christmas gift and received one that was chipped. The colors are different in person as well, the pink cup has more of a dark purple/red hue(almost identical to the color pictured above the pink cup in their picture) and the white cup looks more blue.

Beautiful ceramic cups that we’re packaged with pure care. Bag it came in was also a beautiful touch. An absolutely stunning set that would be perfect as a gift or just to have some soju with friends. Highly recommend!!!!
