I wish I had a photo/video of her eating this, but I try to sit down and let her eat without much ado. My 2 1/2 year-old Havanese is the PICKIEST EATER of the countless dogs I've had since I was 5 years old, I'm now 58. She has had a sensitive stomach since I brought her home at 6 weeks. Finding the RIGHT dog food is still a challenge, however, I bought this food because she started vomiting every morning on a regular basis, eating a lot of grass every time we went outside, (and being a critical care nurse, I thought maybe it was going to be a matter of time when I would see her vomit blood, and that's just what happened. I had changed her diet and was feeding her these little plastic cups of turkey with juice by a well know company with two names. She immediately loved it, so I went and bought a whole box. By the end of the week, there were 3 medium-sized blood clots in 2 of the 7 vomit bile piles. So, I immediately eliminated the turkey from her diet and started her on this brand of chicken with rice, a bland diet. She absolutely loves it and the vomiting ceased to exist immediately. I give her absolutely no treats or people food, I never have. I can attest to the taste myself. While preparing this food on two separate occasions, I happened to lick the spoon I was stirring this food with and I didn't spit it out, because it tasted just like chicken with rice! She is gaining weight, playing a lot like she used to, and looks forward to eating it. I also offer both a bland beef diet along side this chicken and wala NO NAUSEA/VOMITING, NO more CERENIA, no emergency room visits, and no vet bills. If you are on the fence, just try this once.

I purchased this when my dog was very sick. He needed to eat something that was bland but would still provide him nutrition. The great thing is that it comes dry. You mix with equal parts of warm water! It was perfect for my sick puppy & helped nurse him back to health with proper nutrition. The Rick & chicken was just what his tummy needed & it was warm! Just the way to baby your baby with out being everything at the grocery store. That is what I did before I purchased this. It was reasonably priced very nutritious. Best of all my baby got better!

This ‘recovery diet’ is meant to get your dog through digestive issues. It is easy to prepare and you can smell the chicken as it cooks and cools. One feeding of Whole Life Pet Recover and my dog’s digestion was greatly improved. It’s very bland, and my dog loves it. She has recovered and is now back on her regular diet. I like Whole Life Pet Recover for its natural ingredients, ease of preparation and its ability to get my dog’s digestive system back to normal.

This product included the ingredients our vet suggested we feed our dog when he was ill. Since it is freeze dried, we can keep it on hand for when/if we have any more bouts of illness. Our dog loved this product.

This pet blend always works wonders when my pet is under the weather! The chicken and rice duo helps my dogs stomach recover nicely especially from stressful events like fireworks. It even tastes good enough for your other pet to enjoy. Can't beat this food!

I have purchased this twice for my dog and both times it has had bugs in it. Won't be buying it again
