This basket was quite sturdy. As seen in the photo attached, it held a good thirty Red Delicious apples and others similar in size. It DOES NOT come with the liner in my picture or any liner for that matter. One will be needed as the design of the basket causes some loose ends to catch and possibly damage any bare items. I would recommend making a simple liner to protect your produce and such.Overall, the feel of the basket is wonderful. The attachments between the handles and the basket itself is made with the same weave so it seems a little Un sturdy but after lugging this lot around for a good EIGHT HOURS, I can assure you, this basket can handle just about anything you throw its way.

This appears to be well-made. I use it for clippings from the garden. It’s very pretty and is surprisingly well-made. It’s not large enough for a picnic basket but works well for flowers or vegetables from the garden, or keeping garden tools in.

I purchased this to serve as an Easter basket. The rest of the year I thought I would use it as a picnic and gathering basket.It's really too small to serve as a proper Easter basket.If I were dining alone and only had a couple (lightweight) items this could serve as a picnic basket, but not for two people or more. It's far too small.As a gathering basket this could possibly work. Maybe some small flowers or berries. I wouldn't trust the handles with larger fruits/veggies. This would be an attractive display option, though.It's attractive and seems sturdy, but I wouldn't carry anything too heavy in it. The handles would break.For the price point I would not repurchase. The local craft store has better options.

Basket is solid, there are steel wires running through handle around the bottom of the basket.Basket is very attractive, nice presentation of harvest from the garden
