How to CONNECT
1. Download the APP: Search JoyTrip in Google Play or App Store or san QR code in manual to download it.

2. Long press the power button on the camera

3. Enter WIFI settings and connect to WIFI hotspot starting with “car....”.

Attention
Turning on Bluetooth on Android phone will affect image delay. Turn off Bluetooth before use and keep the memory of your phone fully used! Some Smartphones are in use and no images can be seen when connected to WiFi. Turn off WiFi and turn it on again.

It does what I bought it for, provides a good picture for helping back into parking spots. Magnet is strong enough to hold to the back of my car.

Really strong magnet on the camera. Camera works well attached to my pick-up tailgate aimed downward when used to view the hitch for hooking up either my boat trailer or travel trailer. Picture is clear. Camera angle/aim is adjustable. Charging is easy and battery life seems good. Camera unit itself is sturdy. Wireless connection to phone works well. Only issue for me is that I have a 26ft travel trailer and when the camera is placed on the rear bumper of the travel trailer, the signal is not strong enough to reach my phone in the cab of my pick-up truck.

This serves an important function so you need it to work reliably. Unfortunately the WiFi interface doesn't let the camera sync with the app first time, every time. It's more like third or fourth try or not at all. I'm sorry I bought it.

So much cheaper and easier to use than the wire installation type. Do yourself a favor and use this. You won’t be disappointed. Some reviews say stuff about the picture quality, nonsense it’s better than factory imo.

Good backup camera - easy to use and connects wifi well. Happy with it. Not mentioned in the description is the camera snap shot and video features do not work on Android phones, only Ios ( Apple ). The JoyTrip app closes when I try touch the photo or video feature icons on my Android phone ( ver 14 ). I have an old Iphone5 ( ver 12 ) and verified this . Hopefully this will be fixed with a software revision.
