I needed a remote 2.4GHz antenna to control a robot lowered down into a cave. This mates with the SMA connector on the transmitter, and seems to work just as well as the normal antenna. For a more normal application the antenna would mount directly onto a surface, and the adhesive rubber washer should prevent any seepage into the mounting hole. The included double male SMA adapter was a nice feature.

It's basically a small puck antenna, at the end of a long feed line, feeding very high RF frequencies, at relatively low power, so don't expect miracles. However, it happily handles my bluetooth devices in the same room, and connects to my Wifi in the next room over just fine, and that's all I needed. And it's nicely flush mounted on my desk setup instead of the janky plastic antenna that came with my motherboard.

Perfect replacement to a small ant on my car radio. This one works much better and pulls in a better signal.
