Sensor works fine. The adhesive strip that came with it is too weak to support the units weight. The magnetic buttons work well so I used them to install the sensor.

I bought this to use as a remote temp monitor for my hot tub. Because it needed 120v power I installed a plug off the hot tub incoming power and installed the monitor inside the tub enclosure.The 3 feet cable was long enough to reach up and over the side of the tub.Someone said you could not change it to fahrenheit it is easy to set up in the app.I have alerts set for high and low temp so I know if I have lost power or something in the tub is not working before the tub freezes. Alerts are via text, email, and phone call.The only warning is, it is not weather proof. If you are going to use it outside, you have to mount it in an enclosure.

I use this to monitor the temp in a sauna and it is accurate and the red LED display is readable from 20 feet away. Only problem is that Alexa can tell you what the temperature is, but you can NOT create a Routine to do anything based on that temp. So you can not turn anything on or off if the temperature is high or low. All you can do is ask Alexa what the temp is. So this is a disappointment.

Both sensors routinely have 15+ degree swings, setting off the alarms.Connection is unreliable. Constant disconnects and or shoring as offline.On/off switch is recessed so not easy to turn on or off. Annoying when alarm is going off due to incorrect temperature read.Sensor cord is so large it causes gap in freezer seal.Does not come with wall plug adapters.

I needed a device that would allow me to remotely check on the temperature of a refrigerator. I can get real time readouts as needed, and set alarm points if desired. It contains a battery, but I'm not sure how long the device would run on that battery. You can of course attach it to a 5 volt USB charger and that will keep it going indefinitely, using the internal battery to cover a power failure.

Low temp alarm won’t alert until temp has dropped all the way down to 40 degrees. You may have a little time to react and stop freeze damage by throwing a heater in the tub BUT ideally the alarm should sound at around 90 degrees so you have a prayer of maintaining water temp where it should be (101ish).

This is perfect for monitoring my fridge in a different house. Big and easy to read, and works flawlessly with the app for it.It says it works with Smartthings, but Smarthings just won't see it no matter what I try. That was disappointing, but it works well otherwise.

I'll start this review with a warning: I am a geek and don't apologise for that. We have recently moved house and have an air source heat pump and sometimes the hot water seems tepid instead of hot. I wanted some way to monitor the water temperature in the hot water tank 24/7 and this promised to do exactly that. The setup was easy: install an app, pair the device with your phone, connect to the home WiFi and it was working. I installed it in a stat pocket in the tank (designed for this exact purpose) and it all works. The probe goes into the pocket and the meter attaches to the tank magnetically. It has a very obvious and bright red display (no problem for me as my water tank is in the garage but if this were in my bedroom at night it would drive me mad). It all couples to the Tuya IoT platform so I can actually monitor it myself and control other parts of the system based on its output.

arrivato nei tempi previsti, l'ho subito posizionato nel recinto delle tartarughe, con la sonda ben piantata nella terra. Rileva perfettamente la differenza termica con l'esterno, solo che la batteria non ha una durata utile per l'uso prolungato, fa solo da tampone, quindi ho dovuto attaccarla a corrente.

Helaas niet aangekomen. Zou eigenlijk afgelopen donderdag arriveren, maar is ineens verschoven naar vandaag. Als ik het vandaag niet krijg, kan ik mijn geld terugkrijgen. Maar ik wil gewoon het product hebben. Het was wel verzonden met DPD.

Diesen smarten Sensor kann man vielseitig nutzen, ich habe ihn zur Temperaturübermittlung des Teichwassers.Aber auch für Klimaanlagen, Kühltheken, Gefrierschränken usw. ist er nutzbar.Er sendet per WIFI-Anbindung die aktuelle Temperatur und kann auch einen Alarm ausgeben.Hinten am Gerät sitzen zwei Magnete, er lässt sich daher schnell an etwas metallischem befestigen, der Sensor wird von unten in die Buchse gestöpselt und ist ca. 1m lang.
