I'm big-ger guy, and have to take into account the load ratings on many items that are suspended for hunting. Using a Prusik knot - while safe - lacks a lot in rapid adjustability. This item allows for rapid adjustment on a saddle bridge and a linemans loop. Well made, easy to use, and should last a number of years if cared for.
