I installed these in a little sister style guitar that had rather weak pickups stock. Side by side you could feel the difference holding them, these were considerably heavier (which means more wire winding). The sound difference was noticeable. Much punchier which is what you want out of p90s. Classic styling, top quality, and great price. Highly recommend.

I threw these into an old unused bass guitar, and wow do they sound punchy and amazing. No issue with hum, either.

Wilkinson is always very good quality for money spent. These pickups are great as well. Measured at the expected resistance, good build, sound good (subjective, of course). Came with springs, rubber tubes, and foam pads for mounting. Pretty much covers all that!

I bought a Chibson gold top on EBay well knowing it was a platform for mods. The stock pickups were very lackluster. Swapped in these Wilkinson M Series Alnico 5s and the contrast was startling! These pickups are super touch responsive, and simply sound great. A very good alternative to the high priced offerings. Try them. You won’t be disappointed!

I modified an old beater Yamaha with dual P90's in lieu of the HSH format in original guitar. By the time I got all the pots, switches etc.... sorted and got all the electronics installed.... when I fired up the guitar I was bummed to learn the bridge pickup is not working.I went back through my wiring to troubleshoot to make sure I hadn't wired it incorrectly, nope... Pick up is DOA. I may crack it open to reconnect the positive wire as I suspect that is the problem but in the process of building the guitar my return window has expired. Bright spot is the neck pick up does sound good.

Really nice P90s at the price point. They’re what I expect from an AlNiCo P90. I’ll be installing more of these.

You could spend $100 on a perceived "better" pickup set, or you could save the bucks and get these. They are gems. Excellent tone.Recommend this pedal tone stack:Klon-Dmbl-Hammertone ODFantastic clean tone as well thru a(ny) Fender amp.

Hey folks. I just installed these in an el cheapo Harley Benton that I got used. I am really familiar with P90's after having them in a few guitars over the years.These Wilkinsons are legit great P90's. They stand up to anything with classic P90 tone. I am pretty shocked actually....used guitar 100 bucks. Used pickups 50. For 150 bucks I got what sounds and feels like a completely professional instrument. I am super happy and will order these again pickups again for sure.

Bought these to replace some Lollar p-90's I wanted to keep from a guitar I sold without the pups, after I put the Wilkinson in it was a totally different beast, more articulate and punchy than the Lollar.Finally kept the alnico 5 Wilkinson for myself instead !!!
