Great product that comes in handy time and time again.Have you ever lost your string in your sweatpants or hoody and spent a long time fishing it back through with a paperclip that takes a substantial amount of time, if not multiple attempts of pushing it through and taking it out and retrying again, if not completely unsuccessful? This is a game changer.I bought this after it happened to me a couple of times of my string coming out in a wash cycle (forgot to tie it up before washing). This makes it a breeze. It literally took a couple of minutes.The quality seems decent too and they give you spare backups in case it were too snap, but it is pretty flexible so I am not too worried about it snapping anytime soon.

I sew pillowcase dresses for charity. This tool makes threading the elastic theough the top casings quick and easy especially if you lose one end. I bought these for others in my sewing group to use because they all wanted one.

These looked so useful, I thought they'd be great for my sewing projects. Unfortunately one of the plastic threaders snapped on the first use. I switched to one of the stainless steel tools with slightly better success after a few attempts threading 1/4" elastic through a 3/8" casing. The steel tip catches on the fabric often. With the longer tools you need to use a gentle hand so they don't bend or break.

My boyfriend has a very expensive pair of MLB shorts and the drawstring came halfway out - how(?) - I don’t have a clue because the hole/tunnel is so narrow and the string/cord is so thick/wide. Anyway, I had to cut the knot off one side in order to “thread†it into the blue thing & I thought there was no way I’d be able to pull it all the way through this narrow drawstring tunnel - but I did! He’s thrilled. $8 bucks to save his favorite $120 shorts - well worth every penny. I can see the other tools coming in handy for little fixes like this in the future. The pink & blue look the same and you get 2 metal circle things, so I’m going to give those extras to my sister. Also, the holes on the top of the blue and pink tools have zero ‘give’ so threading might be challenging if you’re working with thick cord/drawstring. Thank you Amazon!
